2003 dodge ram 1500 truck,every thing on radio seems to be working properly but no sound, radio comes on every now and then but just for a couple seconds then sound goes dead,have checked fuses ,changed out radio
with no result sure could use some help in what direction to go.

I need a cannister for the emission control of my '73 VWBeetle. Any suggestions? The catalogs don't list it.

Battery is new. Alternator checks out good.

Battery sometimes discharges when the car sits overnight.

After the car sat for 2 weeks the battery was dead.

After a new battery was installed the car would not hold an idle when started.

I drove the required miles to reset the computer, now at idle when the car is placed in neutral or park when the engine is hot the motor quits. I can give it more throttle and it will keep running.

Started it the other day (battery was charged up), drove 4 miles and battery was dead when I tried to start the car after sitting only 5 minutes.

Can I insure a home van conversion, Fiat Scudo, now a 6 seat mini motorhome?

That is really all I know. It is a vtec 4 with automatic transmission. I see that Honda issued a 2009 Accord Limited Edition in Australia, but nothing on a 1999.

My 2001 Chevy Impala won't start intermittently. It will start 20 times perfectly and then this happens: Engine turns over, but chokes.

My car won't start intermittently. It will start 20 times perfectly and then this happens: Engine turns over, but chokes and "chugs and sputters" badly. Press on gas, nothing happens. The car shakes and sometimes smells like it is burning something, oil maybe? It will hesitate cranking up and just die when it turns over, or it will turn over and will struggle to stay alive and eventually wind up dying. The tachometer swings wildly and the engine chugs horribly like there are pockets of air interrupting the flow of gas to the engine.

Have taken it to the dealership and other mechanic 4 or 5 times in the past couple months. No one knows the problem. No codes being thrown, fuel pump, injectors cleaned, replaced fuel filter, replaced spark plugs, has a fairly new catalytic converter. I don't believe its the passlock system because the car seems to be sparking just not getting fuel and like I said not every time does it do this. 2001 Chevy Impala, 144,000

Possible antenna on Lexus ES330 windshield?

I purchased a 2005 ES330 as CPO. The vehicle had a triangular black device attached to the windshield behind the rear view mirror. It is black and approx. 5" on a side and 1" thick. There is a cable going from it into the headliner. I think it may be some type of antenna. The dealer had no clue.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Chevy is not labeling their AWD Traverse. Normally the owner is present when a vehicle is towed, but living in the city it's possible it could be towed for trespass parking, snow emergencies, etc. Will the tow truck driver know it's AWD if it isn't marked. If not, will it be damaged?

Need help, my 2000 Xterra is running rough, it misfires while accelerating and stalling out. Just tuned the car with new plugs and rotor and cap, it ran better for a day and then went back to running and driving rough. No check engine is on. Seems to get worse when engine warms up to running temp.

Didn't plug it in one night next morning tried to start it. It turned over, started and immediately died. Did this 3 or 4 times before it stayed running.

It's a 2004 6.0 Stroke King Ranch, 4" turbo back exhaust, AFE cold air intake, Bully Dog powerpup with Outlook monitor on it and has 103,000 miles. Runs great other than that minor problem.

Infinity G37 sedan rwd transmission jumped into neutral.

I recently purchased a 2009 Infinity G37 sedan journey; while driving on a steep upgrade in stop and go traffic the car jumped into neutral at about 7 to 10 miles per hour. I shifted into park and then into drive position and back to normal. It happened a second time similar situation at low speed and check engine light appeared. Went to dealer, computer diagnosis found nothing wrong. can anyone help?

When purchased car it had an aftermarket alarm system. Wasn't a professional install. Kept having problems with the system. So I took it out. I now have a problem with the power door locks. Drivers door wont lock or unlock by the switch. Passenger door will lock by switch but not unlock. I bought a repair manual but it does not have the power door lock diagram. 2001 Focus wagon. Automatic transmission. With brake depressed, would not shift out of park. Did it once while engine running and once when engine off. There is a release on the shift console you push in to release shift. Then it works just fine. Has done this once each of the last two days.

I just replaced two sensors, camshaft and a crankshaft. Then replaced an ignition coil and car still won't start. Why? Suzuki Forenza.

I'm trying to remove old right outer tie rod end from tie rod, there is no locking nut to back off. There is a small bubble on both sides of the sleeve on the tie rod. Do I need to heat it up with propane torch and punch out a pin or what?

I have a Mazda MX6 '96 with a V6. When it gets very cold out it will not start. I changed the fuel pump, filter, plugs, egr valve. It will only start when it is warm out. I do not garage the car. Once it starts it runs fine. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I'm looking at a '95 F-250 1 ton pickup, in great condition and with 71,000 miles. The guy is asking $17,900.00, and I think that is quite a bit. It has 4 wheel drive, spray in bedliner, aluminum tool box behind the cab, fog lights, pioneer stereo system, turn out hubs, manual 5 speed, 7.3 liter diesel, just wondering if anyone new how much one cost back when they were new.

The ac controls & the power windows don't work at times but both don't work at the same.

The only thing that is not working properly is the key cylinder. It doesn't always roll back to off position. This may be related to the original problem. It sometimes locks in right before the off position & won't go any further till sometimes it lets go & will slide into the off position.

My 04 GMC Envoy idles rough when I turn the a/c on. Normal idling when it's off. What to do?

Recently, whenever I turn off my Mini Cooper, something in the engine runs quite loudly. It sounds like a fan. It didn't used to do this. Is this a normal thing, or should I have it checked out? Other than that, the car runs fine. The fan stops running after about 5-10 minutes or so.

Returned auto to dealer. Was told that the power steering hoses were touching, they repositioned them. Did not help. Returned to dealer 2nd time. Was told the engine was carboned up, Mechanic drove it hard to clean carbon from engine. Did not help the steering problem.

My 2005 GMC Sierra 5.3L 4x4 has an issue I'm not sure about? When I drive in the rain it will "sometimes" start to run sluggish, and want to stall but it doesn't. The other day the check engine light came on, but went off right away. There is a foul smell - like eggs. I thought it may be bad fuel or maybe water in the tank? but it doesn't seem to be the case.

I have heard from others it could be a fuel filter, catalytic converter, wires, All of these maybe true, but I wondered if anyone else has dealt with this specific issue?. The truck has 59K miles.

I have a 2007 Suzuki XL7 and the low oil pressure light comes on at random and will go back off. I have checked the oil and oil level is good. I have listened to motor and no unusual sounds coming from engine it will come on maybe 1 to 2 times a week and then it may come on 2 to 3 time daily. What should cause this and what can I check for the problem?

Have a 2008 Honda Pilot EXL with a 3 year lease - warranty coverage 3 years or 36,000 miles - currently has 28,000 miles on it - I just did a major service on it - the rep was trying to convince me to buy the extended warranty - the details of his plan - plan by mechanical protection plan 84months/100K miles with $100 deductible (no deductible if repairs are done by the Honda dealership that sells me the extended warranty - he gave me a quoted price of $3120 and said they would reduce it by the cost of todays maintenance fees $680 so it would cost $1940 - I use the car a lot and will probably exceed the 36K miles within the next year and a half - do you think I need the warranty - and is his price excessive - I really have no idea what to do - THANKS for your help

The cds won't eject or load. Just hear a rattling sound whenever you power up the car. Also, the DVD player doesn't recognize and disc and the navi disc won't load up properly.

Just bought used 18" wheels. Will they fit my 2000 Olds Alero 4 door? If so what adjustment do I need to make?
