Has anyone gotten an answer as to why there is a significant hesitation/shifting when VCM is engaged in Odyssey?

2007 Odyssey V-6- at 65-70 MPH there is a hesitation/surging sensation. Dealer says it is a normal functioning property within the design of the VCM system. No way can it be normal for both driver and passenger to be jolted forward, and for the spedometer and RPM gauge to change significantly while you are driving at a constant speed. This is more than irritating-it feels unsafe, like the van may die in the middle of the highway. Clearly there is an issue, as many are complaining about the abruptness of the system, while others who have the VCM feel NO disruption. The owner's manuel states the VCM should go undetected by the driver! Has anyone gotten satisfaction from the dealer in regards to fixing this problem?

Do you think Chevy will bring back the Cobalt SS Supercharged, and if the rumors are true do you think they threw away the Cobalt SS to work more on the Chevy HHR SS? Do you think its a bad move if they did. I really haven’t heard anything bad about the SS Cobalt like I have about the HHR. I did sit in the HHR its not a bad looking car but I don’t think that type of car is made to be that fast. Would there be anyway I could see if Chevy could think about bringing it back in 2009?

I have a 4.6 liter 281 v8 1996 thunderbird, who knows how to make it fast?

I have put a cold air kit on. I put just 2-3 inch exhuast from the headers till rear end with no mufflers.I hollowed the catalac converters our .What else, not too expensive can I do for power speed. This is my everyday car, and does see 75 miles of highway every day.

Under the intake manifold on a 1965 olds 330cci, is there a splash type pan mounted over the intake man. gasket?

I am considering purchasing a 1991 Cadillac Fleetwood, but I need to tow a boat (up to 3,500lbs). Some online research shows the towing capacity at 2000lbs up to 7,000lbs. The owner doesn't know the capacity, however the car does have the original transmission oil cooler installed.

the so called mechanic just rebuilt the trani in my 97 accord but it wont move in reverse and it goes in but somthings holding it back.in neutral you cant push it or role it like it is in park or somthing it goes forward fine,shifts good does anyone know what causes this,could it be a shift solinoid or tcu please help?

my car is an Acura EL 99 auto, this version only exist in canada, it uses the same engine as an civic d16y8.

i Bought it in last july and achieves about 30-31 mpg(hw 75% city 25%). one time i forgot to turn off the engine while refilling the gas so the Check engine came on. the garage guy told me that is the EVAP CODE, he reset it for me but after few days it came up again. he said i need to change the canister selenoid purge valve . so I did not care much.i keep driving the car. I notice that a little bit decreasing in the mpg. from 30-31 to 27-28. and now it's terrible 20-22mpg. I was freak out and decide to change the Evap valve. now the evap code is clear, no more check engine light but my car till get poor mileage 21-23 mpg and the engine now not so responsive and weak. I dun know if whatelse part do i need to replace or to check out to get back my mpg before.

another thing. with this car it takes so long for me to get about 105mph. at that time, on D, rpm is about 4300 and my car can not go any faster even my gas pedal is at the max. I fought this is so weird. this is a Vtec engine and max speed is 125.

so that is my story. I look forward help from you guys, the expert. what i want it what to fix or check to get a better mpg and how can i reach the top speed.

We just bought a flood damaged x5, it needs a few bits of work but mainly electrical. I need to move the front seats in order to get to the bolts but they wont move, any ideas? also the passenger door lock wont budge and as the door is closed I need to get it unlocked, oh yeah and have also tried both methods of getting fuel cover open but nothing happening! help, please!!

I am considering an '08 Outback for its AWD but am not thrilled with current engine choices. It's to get a major redesign in '10 and possibly with a better, more fuel efficient motor. Would getting one now to take advantage of the AWD, and trading to an '10, incur a large amount of depreciation and be considered unwise?

I have a 1991 mitsubishi 3000gt sl and wanted to swap it into a 1993 body, but the sensors are in different spots. On the 1991 the crank sensor and the cam sensor are one unit behind heads, on the 1993 the crank sensor is by the crank and the cam sensor in to the left of the cam. Is there a way to bypass them for it to work?

The retractable shoulder belts in my 93 Festiva do not operate. The only fuse I could find (30amp) is fine. The belts will not operate when you open the door, or when you start the engine.

Does anyone know how I should trouble shoot this???

My Ford Focus I.6 Zetec (1999)is a good little runner, the only drawback is the speedo works intermitently. It has been into a garage and has had a diagnostic but nothing showed up, the mechanic took it for a drive in the hopes that it wouldn't work but guess what! It woudn't NOT work. It is a mystery!!!! I spoke to an RAC man today and he thinks it could be a relay of some sort. Can anybody shed any light on this PLEASE???

Just want to say thanks. You put me on the right track to get the key out of my Isuzu Rodeo. I found that a screw hold the shit release cable hosing had falen out and I was able to find it and put it back in and the key came right out. Do you have any thoughts on the Isuzus and the ABS light coming on or the intermitant windshield wipers, the wire return, and the rear wiper not working.

I heard that the 2000 model had the same problem but was fixed by re-programming the computer.My saab surgeon tells me that on the 1999 model well,it seems impossible due to the type of electronic injection on that particular year.I know that I'm not the only one with that problem,my mechanic knows two or three other client of his with the same situation...Was there ever a call back from saab on this? Is there a solution for this? Thank you !
