How do I change the brake light on a 2003 Saturn Ion-2?

I have a 2003 Saturn Ion-2 with a brake lightbulb burned out. I have the new light bulb but can't figure out how to get to it. There don't seem to be any screws that attach it to the car.

I have a 2006 Saturn Ion with codes po411 & 440. Tech says air pump is bad. Is it covered under emissions warranty?

I took the car in for a broken transmission mount and that was fixed and now i have the vibration noise when i apply my breaks all the way at a stop sign or red light. There is not noise when i accelerate or in neutral, reverse or park

My power steering has stopped working at least 3 times in the past 2 months.After stopping and shutting off the engine and re-starting the car the power steering wurks fine.Anyone know what causes this? 2004 saturn ion 3 with 107000 mileson it

The steering on my 2005 Saturn Ion sporadically goes out. The power steering light comes on and the steering immediately goes out. I had the fuse in the fuse box checked in accordance bulletin no 05-02-32-002 with was told it was fine. I saw that there was another technical bulletin about this issue #07-02-32-007 but I can't get any information on what this bulletin entails. Do you have any information on this bulletin? Should I have the fuse replaced even though it tested as being ok?

06 Saturn Ion steering wheel rotates 90 degrees when car stops unless held on to. Also clunks when right turn made.

The power steering inadvertently shuts down and it is practically impossible to steer. The car has to be shut off and restarted. It originally did it once in a while. Now it has become more and more frequent. She just missed having an accident on the freeway the other day when someone cut her of at 55 mph she was lucky that time.

I am told that this is a very frequent problem with these steering columns is there anything to resolve this problem such as warranty coverage or factory recalls because these columns are very pricey or can it be settled without the involvement of legal action? Thank you. Ronald.

It idles at 700rpm in park but does not drop when shifted into any gear. It will even go uphill in gear without pressing the gas pedal. I took it to Saturn and they replaced the Idle Air Control Valve but it still has the problem. They also reprogramed the PCM per bulletin 04-06-04-029A....HELP

I got a 2004 saturn Ion I've put three ignition swicthes in so far the thing won't reset with the relearn system I always have to get it to the dealership for them to do it on the tech 2. The dealership is 138 miles away, which mades it very costly.I really need to bypass the system! please help me.

2004 Saturn Ion 3 AC works fine when moving, does not work when car is stopped. Is this a simple probloem?

I have a 2006 Saturn Ion 2 with the 2.2 4cyl engine in it. Woke up morning to take it to work and found that the engine was starting to miss. Put it on a computer to read the codes, said I had a random cylinder misfire. Took it to a friend and we found out tha tcyclender one and four are miss fireing. Changed spark plugs, not it, changed fuel filter, not it. Can anyone help with this? I just baught new plug boots for it. Any help would be wonderful.

when driving my transmission goes into a neutral position and tackometer goes up to 4/5 and the car has no power when steping on the gas. had it to saturn several times and the car only does this ocassionaly so they can't seem to find the problem. if you pull the car over turn off the car will then go as if nothing has happened. this happens every couple of months. saturn changed parts in the transmission and the problem still happens. desperate for answers. diagonostic test shows no problem

How do I get to the left burned out brake taillight bulb from either inside the trunk or from the outside? My Saturn Service Technical Advisor said that I should just unbolt 3 nut heads inside the trunk on the rear left side. The 3 bolts and nut heads are supposed to hold this taillight section in place, but when I removed the nut heads nothing became loose for me to get to the burned out bulb. Suggestions please, because I don't want to go to the Dealership and pay their labour rate to replace this burned out brake taillight which I should be able to change myself.

I have just bought a 2004 Saturn Ion. My wife was driving it home when it started making a metallic clicking sound under the glove box. you can feel it in what I think is the fan motor. Is there anything that would be there that draws power when the key is on and when the motor is running that would make that metallic clicking sound?

How can you deactivate the theft deterrent, so that the car starts, and not have to wait 10-30 minutes? Saturn Ion.

i have a 2005 Saturn Ion. I'm having problems with the theft deterrent. i will go and unlock to the doors with the the remote, go to start it, and the car and lock icon flashes. usually it takes appox. ten mins for it to actually let me start the car. but today, it was over half an hour. This has happened appox. four times in less then two weeks, and its starting to get very frustrating. i was just wondering what i can do so i can deactivate it so that this problem no longer occurs as well as why it is doing this.

Think I got it all in, just can't find where to bleed the clutch {brake} fluid to get my clutch working again. Brakes are fine, that half of the tank didn't go down at all while the clutch side went completely dry.

I've been hearing a ticking noise at lower speeds (20-30 mph) for over a month now. Similar to what it sounds like when you have trash stuck to one of your tires. Any way a new development over the past week: The car now "shimmys" at higher speeds (60-70 mph). I've got 45K miles on it, have had all the major services and oil changes. I just didn't want to take it to a dealer--out of warrany now. Any suggetions so I don't get "taken" when I take it to the shop? Thanks and please advise,

I have a 2007 Saturn Ion. Then engine light has been on for more than a week. I tighten the gas cap and filled up with plus gasoline. The car ran great for the first week.

Now when started it idles high and then low. Sputters and doesn't want to idle down without giving it a rev. It seems to do fine after that. I took it to Auto Zone but the Code reader gave a general diagnosis. It didn't help at all. Can someone please give me some advise.

Have problem with my Saturn Ion a/c. It was working perfect last year but now the compressor won't kick on. Does anybody know?

2005 Saturn Ion, recently replaced completely dead battery (3 weeks ago) and had an oil change. Drove from Tampa to New Jersey (2 weeks ago), upon leaving Tampa change oil light came on so its obvious that the shop did not properly reset the computer. Lately, within the last 10 days, my power steering light comes on and immediately the power steering goes out. If I turn off the car for a few minutes then turn it back on the power steering is fine. This has happened several times with no apparent warning.

My Saturn Ion turns on when it feels like it. Does anybody know about a certin switch in the car that I can use?

The letters "PWR STR" are displayed and the power steering ceases to work. When I stop the car and switch off the engine, and then switch it back on, the power steering works fine until this process repeats, many times a day.

I have an 04 Saturn Ion and a few months back the radiator fluid leaked out and it caused the car to overheat and since then the ac wont work.

I had my uncle check it and everything seems to be fine with it except for the radiator fan won't spin but other than that the fuse are fine. None are blown. Belts are good

He advised me that maybe I should get a vac and flush and recharge the ac but what should I do about the fan? And should I even get the vac and flush or is there something else that could be wrong with it? If anyone know please reply thanx.

I have a 2003 Saturn Ion and the every time I plug in the refrigerant pressure sensor it blows the 10 amp a/c fuse.

I have changed out the pressure sensor and it didn't seem to make a difference. What can I do to correct this problem?
