I purchased 2008 Sienna LE and soon afterward engine indicator light came up. I took it to dealership and they said it was a bad indicator and they fixed it and lights went off. But after driving for another 10 miles lights are back again.

It is frustrating to go through this after paying all the money for new Van. Has anyone else experienced this? If this keeps on happening can I get help through lemon law?

Removed all the bolts, including one on the inside of hub. It still will not move. Rubber hammer on the outside and it still won't move.Bearing is making a scrapping sound so I think it needs replacing. Everyting I have read tells me to replace the entire hub. Parts are ordered. Is there a secret to removing the hub?? Help!!

I have a 2008 Toyota Sienna XLE Limited AWD. I noticed a screw in one of the tires. The tire has not lost any pressure and I have not received any warning from the TPMS, have not driven using the run-flat feature (which certainly would require replacement of the tire) and do not detect any leakage from the hole which appears to have been plugged by the screw. My Toyota dealer insists that I replace the tire but a local tire dealer (STS Tire and Auto) said that, since I have not driven on it while flat, it can be patched. Can you patch a run-flat tire that has not been driven on while flat (and not taken advantage of the run-flat feature)???

I got a call from a friend that someone changed his brake master cylinder because he to pump up his pedal at least 3 time before he had to stop. So i figured the guy didn't bleed the brakes right so I bled all 4 wheel but I got no pressure out of neither 4 wheels so I thought bad master changed the the master and still if any one knows the answer please help.

The left front wheel froze up and was hot enough to cook eggs. The mechanic says the caliper is bad. Van has 58,000 miles and what worries me is there were no parts available form any dealer in the Southeast ($476)and NAPA only could find 3. The mechanic ordered one from Philly. So we are stuck on vacation with no transportation. Is this a known problem? Are there so many going bad that all stocks are depleted? I am now afraid to take another trip where I may be stuck in the boonies.

I had the steering rack changed but now when I put the van in gear and accelerate the anti traction system engeges. Toyota Sienna. Any hints?

Initially steering sluggish but no other problems. After changing steering rack, the van now the anti-traction system is activated for no reason causing the van to not accelerate even when accelerator depressed. This makes the van unable to be driven safely.

Tire pressure monitor reported a problem and we verified that air pressure was low. We reinflated and drove some distance. Later, the pressure was again low.

The tire was carefully inspected for nails, punctures and placed in a water tank, but no bubbles were found.

I'm thinking the most likely suspect is the tire valve, just by process of elimination.

What else can we check?

I have released the parking brake in the cabin, but I suspect that I need to release it at the rotor. I have used the two threaded holes to break the rotor from rust, but I still can not remove it... Any suggestions?

My car is at the dealer now getting a 08040 hitch installed along with a Thule swingaway bike rack. I spoke to the rep this afternoon and he says it will take about 2 1/2 hours to install the hitch. The parts websites indicate similar hitches only take about half an hour. I'm wondering if the service dept at my dealer is over-enthusiastic with their billing. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I know some of you might have had shopped around for the Toyota Sienna Minivan CE Pkg#1 option. If so, can you please help me decide!!! I am planning to go for the Sienna CE with the pkg#1 option and the best quote that I have got so far is for 22K from a Toyota dealer in Southern California.

Please advise if this is a good deal? Will it be a worth while effort to bargain for a better price than the above?

Also, Toyota is offering 0% APR for qualified buyers OR the $1500 Rebate. I think I might qualify for the 0% APR. My question is, 'Is it a no brainer to automatically choose 0% APR over the $1500 Rebate? Or is it worth while to think about arranging some funds to actually pay down the entire cost of the vehicle and get the $1500 rebate?

The picture in the owners manual shows that it is on the stearing wheel but I can't find it. I have asked many dealers this question and even called the Toyota company and they are still looking into it. If anyone has it and has a limited please let me know where the button is.

I called Toyota and was told that unfortunately my model year does not have an inside release button. I could take it to a dealer. I called a dealer and was told it would be at least $400. to fix. I think this is extreme for a broken handle. Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so how did you repair the problem. I have an inspection coming soon, I can't use the trunk of the van since I can't open the door. I was told that they will need to check the spare tire. any solutions that will not cost me so much.

It started with the steering getting stiff and right now I cannot even turn the key in the ignition. I can turn it one click so that the lights come on in the van but I cannot go any further than that. So, right now it is just sitting in the parking space.

Is there a reason that the ignition would lock-up like that?

I just had an engine replaced as the other one burned out a cylinder. The Check engine light kept coming on and we traced that down to an O2 sensor. But both engine fans are blowing all the time. Even as soon I put the key in the ignition before starting, the fans come on. They both stay on all the time. It is not affecting any performance but it does concern me. Does anyone know how to fix this?

any suggestions on what the problem may be for my 99 sienna van. The drivers side window rolls down. It will not roll up right away. Youu have to shut the van off wait awhile and it will go up 1/4" at a time. You have to repeat the process over time. The passengers window works fine. Could it be a shorted switch? Any help would be appreciated

04 sienna, the a/c have some problem. Dealer check it before say no problem. Now car watt. expire.

Today I took it to other shop and test it and the result come back saying the center vent in the middle. The driver side was blowing warm/cool air and the passanger side is blowing cold air. And I notice the same problem too before I took it there.

He told me might have to take the whole dash board out to see what wrong.
I just don't know why the same air vents at center left blow warm and right blow cold air. Are they the same outlet and is this very hard to fix.

I park the van inside the garage let it run after a while the vent on passager side is cold. But while driving outside temp is around 16C and I don't feel the Van is cold after 20 mins driving.

I bet the dealer just checking the a/c unit and find out is good. But they didn't check the vent inside. Now the Van is not cover (pass 3 yrs). I report to Toyota Canada to report this issue today. I guest they will not doing anything about it.

Why I found out that late ? Is because my wife are usually driving the Van but now I take over driving it and she drive my Camry. She don't usually turn the a/c on that's why.

Please help or any places I can check,

My 04 Sienna the a/c is not cold and looks like is not working well since day one. And was check by dealer and say no problem. The Van is only 4,5000 km. And my wife usually don't turn the a/c on.
To make this short, Anyone have the same problem. I search the internet there are quite a few complain the a/c problem but Toyota look's like they knew this problem and don't know how to fix it and don't issue a recall to save them $$$.

I see that there are navigation overriding techniques for older Sienna's and was wondering if 2007 Sienna Limited has one. Quite a silly idea for Toyota to install system that cannot operate easily while moving. I suppose no one travels in a 7 passsenger minivan with a passenger seat traveler to operate system. Also I noticed that the '08 Sienna navigation has a night screen for the Navigation. Is this the first year that they have this option? Thanks in advancce for your help

The CD player was working fine one day and when I got in it the next day the cd player was making a funny noise and it when I tried to eject the cd's it would not do anything.

We just bought this sienna brand new almost 2 months ago, and after the first month it started making a noise on the drivers door lije the if the window is hitting some metal in the inside, and it only happens when you are driving and hit a bump with the right side of the car, I took it to the dealer twice, the first time they could hear the noise but I went with my 3 kids so they said to meka and appointment for another day and just live the van there, when the day of the appointment came they could not hear no noise so I was sent home, then in the afternoon the noise started again. I noticed it happens usually in the afternoon, and when it is hot. You can not here it when it is raining. What could it be?, haow can I get the dealer to fix it and not just send me home because the mechanic can not here the noise?. They keep telling me that it is not safety issue, but I did not bought a brand new car to come with that noise. Thanks for any help.

Our 2002 Odyssey just doesn't cut it when we are driving in snowy conditions in Eastern Washington. Something we do a lot during the winter. Buying a mid size SUV would be a real step down in terms of access to the back seats for the kids and cargo space. We are thinking of buying a Sienna AWD. I wonder how it does in actual winter driving.

you have 3, 02 sensors, one is located in exhaust manifold of the front bank, one is located in the exh. manifold on the rear bank, and one is located just past where the two exh. pipes meet just before the cat. converter.

Before you think about replacing them, you will want to check the resistanc on each sensor ,as they are expensive.

Resistance values : Heated oxygen sensor inspection, 1. Inspect heater resistance of heated oxygen sensors (Bank 1 Sensor 1 Bank 2 Sensor 1) (a) Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector (b) using a ohmmeter measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT,,Resistance : 11-16 ohms at 20 dg celsius (68 F) If the resistance is noy as specified replace the sensor, Torque: 44 nm ( 440kgf-cm, 31-ftlbf ).

27,000 miles & factory Michelin Energy tires worn badly, especially outside edges of rear tires. Front end alignment garage says front align. is fine. Toe-In & Camber on rear is way off. They said it is a "floating rear suspension" & not easily adjusted. Have to get special shim kit, remove dic brakes, etc. to get rear alignment into proper specs. Cost estimate around $250. Is this correct info. & is the price fair. What causes a rear to be out of alignment? We bought the van new, no wrecks no "curbing". Thanks.

I broke the power driver's seat in my 2006 Sienna LE. Dealer says $4400 for a replacement. Out of town junkyard has a manual seat from a 2006 Sienna CE for $100 plus shipping. Before I have it shipped to me, I need to find out if it will bolt right in or if I am asking for trouble.

My Toyota Sienna is not starting so I got a new battery but it's still not starting. What's the problem?
