Check eng light remains on in my 2000 insight after replacing o2 sensor that code said was bad. Any suggestions?

I have a 2000 Honda Insight that the check eng light came on. right after this happened, Honda sent notice of recall to replace ECM because it could misinterpret signals sent and report bad sensors that were not bad. after Honda replaced the ECM, they said that it still has some sensor bad and they want 100 dollars to diagnose the problem. Had code read at Autozone and their scanner said faulty heated o2 sensor, bank 1 sensor 1. That sensor is a NTK L2H2. Bought new sensor that auto store said was for my car. 5 wire Bosch. replaced sensor, disconnected batt for 20 min then started car up. light was out for 25-30 seconds then came back on. What now?

1999 Sierra extended cab pickup/5.3 V8. The service engine light always comes on. Changed gas cap, what's next?

The vehicle has a little over 65,000 miles, and along with the &quot;service engine light&quot; coming on, it appears that the transmission might be slipping (along with a 'clunking' sound) during a quick acceleration, and it sounds like the power steering might be going out also. I've read others having these same problems. Are there any recalls for this vehicle? What can I do in reference to the &quot;service engine&quot; light coming on? I've already changed the gas cap, which worked before.

Driving the other day, in a normal weather condition, I had a check engine light come on. I took the car to Autozone to get the code pulled, it was a PO128 either, Low Coolant, Thermostat, or Sensor. I have replaced the Thermostat, drove still light on. Replaced the Sensor, drove, still light on. I tried to reset it by unhooking the battery, still the light is on. I am very frustrated as everything is replaced, everything should be fine. <br>Why is this light still on? How do I make it go away. My tempature gauge is reading fine. Thoughts? Thank you!

I changed the valve cover gasket, air filter, oil and oil filter and the plugs and wires, but the check engine light came on after the gasket and air filter were replaced. I tried to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery, but no luck in getting the light to stay off. It only comes on after driving the car for approx. 10 minutes.

I got the car not running. Ended up being the broken timing chain. Engine starts, rough idle. Smoothes out about 1500 rpm, starts to miss at 4000 rpm and can't rev any higher. I had the coil pack/ ignition module checked at Autozone. New plugs, wires, throttle position sensor, cyl. 1 fuel injector, fuel filter. Found a sheet in the glove box from another code reading. It was random misfire, PO300. Not sure when this was read. Any help out there? Oh yea, the MIL is flashing.

The first time it happened with all the warning signals going off my car was at a stop sign and once I was setting off to go I couldn't move forward-it felt as if something fell off. As if the brakes had collapsed. Was in the shop for several days...as soon as I pick it up from the shop the lights go off again (a day later)....the dealer can't seem to figure out the problem...can anyone help? I wouldn't want the same thing to happen while I'm actually driving the car down the highway? Could it be a brake issue, electronic? Or just a figment of my imagination?

My 97 Dodge Neon has had a few problems but still gets me to where I am going. For a while it would on occasion try to stall unless foot was kept on gas then would correct itself sometimes in a day sometimes in a few weeks. I replaced the TPS and Idle speed valve because gas milage also dropped from 250-300 miles per tank to 125 miles per tank. Now I get about 175 miles per tank.Better but still not fixed. I also have a problem with oil light. It comes on after car running for about 15 minutes but will go off if idle about 15000-2000. Was told sensor on top of motor could be dirty-cleaned motor, changed valve cover gasket/plugs did oil change-light went out for a few days now back on. No engine noises. Any ideas. Of yeah, the mechanic did fix a vaccuum line also..not sure if more need replacing.

I have taken it in to dealer once. They said bad catalytic converter. Did not have converter replaced. They didn't have one in stock.<br>I can reset by disconnecting battery (R&amp;R battery in November 07) &amp; light stayed off for about a month but it's on again. <br>The light will however go off without me doing anything &amp; come on again some time later. It will stay off for about a month if I remember correctly. <br>Everything seems to be normal except gas mileage is a little lower than it used to be by about 1 or 2 MPG. Approx 125,000 miles which may be why MPG is dropping a bit.
