My current stereo is fine but I wanted to install an aftermarket radio. I have the Bose system in now with that mini amp and auxiliary radio in the rear too. What type of wiring harness do I need and are there any restrictions. I would like to put in my own amp. Can you help me with this issue. I am experienced with automotives but when it comes to this different type of radio wiring situation, I am not sure and want to make absolutely sure I am getting the right wiring without being taken.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for an 04 Dodge Stratus RT 7 speaker Infinity system? Want to replace with aftermarket.

I am replacing my audio system in my 04 Stratus RT with an aftermarket stereo. I need a wiring diagram specific for this model. It has the 7 speaker Infinity System. I can't seem to identify the wire coding? Can anyone please guide me?

I'm looking for bolt on power, and I have intake manifold spacers and throttle body spacers to choose from. They say added mpg and torque, but I'm not sure, and would like other opinions from people who know from their own personal experience.

In addition to lamenting the loss of both exterior and interior color choices for the Infiniti M35, I was sad to see the "chunky" chrome wheels go this year. Will they fit on the new cars? If so, any ideas of where to get them besides the dealers (whom seemed very reluctant to sell them when I asked if they were available). Any reason NOT to get them?

New to this site...not sure how to post a reply.
My 1995 sierra is a 1500 4x4, and has a 4-flat plug on the bumper. I saw blue and orange wires by the fuse relay block, and again taped in the wiring harness by the back bumper. Also , the seven blade plug I have plugs in to the 4-flat plug on my bumper...four wires come out of it (the wires I am inquiring about). A white ground wire, black - auxillary power aide, blue - electric brakes, and purple - reverse. I need to know how those wires attach, and how to wire the Activator under my dash.

I'll be leasing a car (likely this week) that may not have factory DVD, especially dual DVD which I prefer. So I'm considering a portable DVD vs paying for after market installation which is waste on a leased vehicle. I would like to purchase 2 for each seatback with wireless headphones. Any suggestions? 16x23 roof opening in 1992 Lance Camper. Need (Jensen) escape hatch vent kit. Suggestions where to purchase one?

The roof opening in my 1992 Lance Camper is 16" x 23" and the original vent was a Jensen escape vent (sometimes called an exit vent or an exit hatch or an escape hatch vent). Jensen is no longer in business but somewhere there might be a Jensen escape vent kit available. Or some other substitute company that would not require me enlarging the roof opening. Sure could use some help. Elixir makes some kits but none for a 16x23 roof opening. Thank you.

There are a number of aftermarket head units that incorporate bluetooth and coordinate it with the audio system. I saw a real good review on CNET about Sony unit and I think it was about $300 for the unit. I'd be interested if anyone has replaced their stock unit with a replacement head unit that has bluetooth. How well does it work? How much was installation? Any other info would be great. Thanks.

It would be great to find rubber mats with edges starting from the front tire going all the way to the rear bumber about 18 to 24 inches wide for each side. My garage is a mess due to all the melting snow, salt, cinders, etc. and I'm over dealing with wet carpet or cardboard. Any suggestions?

Have an 02 Sebring with 4 disc cd player. When turning on radio the lights all blink on cd player. Then shortly goes to blinking of 2 discs and 2 discs. Cant get cd player to operate at all. Have replaced cd player and radio and same problem. Any ideas much appreciated.

I have two 4ohm subwoofers that put out 2400w and I have a 1400w amp.
I get 350watts x 2 @ 4-ohms from my amp
And 700watts x 2 @ 2 -ohms from my amp
I want to know can I plug my amp as 2-ohms to my subwoofer that is 4-ohms to get more watts out of my amp or is my subwoofer going to get damage.

Hey all,

I'm new to the car entertainment area and looking to set up my first sound system. I have purchased a head unit which runs my amplifier fine, but am curious as to what subwoofers I am able to run with a Kenwood KAC-8104D amp. The amp is able to run 500W RMS @ 2 ohms and 300W RMS @ 4 ohms. Does this mean I am able to run a subwoofer with 4 ohms of resistance on the 500W RMS @ 2 ohms setting? I do understand however that for the amp a subwoofer that runs @ 500W RMS is perfect, but the ohms confuse me. Please can someone explain this so I understand!
