We have seen on the news that out of all the cars that the versa interior and etc were the most toxic and they are telling us things to do like add things to you car,park in the shade,roll down your window awhile before going anywhere and don't sit in long traffic jams.Do you think it is there place to do something about this?

My clutch will start to disengage on its own?

I cannot figure this out, I push the clutch in and put the car in 1st , and if I let it sit for a few seconds in gear with the clutch pressed in it will start to disengage without me letting the clutch out (this happens sometimes in 2nd and happens a lot in reverse as well).

I just put a new clutch kit in the car and it made no difference, it did this before I replaced the clutch and it does it the exact same now after. I bled the clutch as well and it made no difference (the fluid is pretty dirty but I don't think that would cause this problem).

Anyone have ANY idea what this is? Please help! Thanks!

i just bought a car, and it worked fine. but later on it got stuck in reverse. whenever i go into any other gear (except park) it just acts like it is in neutral. What is wrong?

I have a 1998 Subaru Outback Sport. After cleaning heavy snow off front windshield today and turning wiper blades on, the right arm crosses over the left. They don't work. Is there some adjustment I can make to fix this problem? I can't drive it the way it is. Please help.

I have a 2008 Mazda MAZDA3 5-door which uses 205-50/17 tires. Would there be problems if I installed 215-55/17 tires?

I would like to know:

If it has more than 2 cup holders. Its an odd question, but on some Mondays, I take my friends home usually totaling 3-4 (including driver) people. Sometimes we stop for a bite to eat and in my current car, I have two of the smallest useless cupholders now. I already know about the 2 up front above the stereo, but are there any more?

I have a 93 Geo Metro and would like a standard set of wheels for it, making it easier to get new tires.

I was told that the cabin air filters are dirty and need replacing. Some one mentioned that it's behind the glove box, but it was difficult to take the glove box off. Could break the plastic i guess.

Do any of the hatchbacks like the Nissan Versa allow towing?

We have replaced everything even one of the comp., and still when we drive it after it warms up it will start trying to die and the vacuum can't be right cause when you push the pedals for gas and such the air cond blows harder but we just can't figure it out please help before I go nutty.

Had a 1998 Saab 9000 SE turbo. Loved it. Loved the hatchback. The trunk space. The power. Now it's dead, thanks to me having an accident. And I can't make up my mind what to get next. I've never bought a new car; always bought used. But am thinking of waiting for the new Toyota Venza to come out. Have checked out A3's... seem overpriced. Matrix... maybe. Jetta... hmmm. VW Golf ignition coil issue.

Does anyone know if there are two different ignition coils for a 2001 vw golf 2.0? I am pretty sure i need to replace mine, i noticed it when i changed my spark plug wires, one of the tubes where you stick the wire to has a crack and its making that cylinder misfire according to the check engine light. I ordered a ignition coil for a 2001 golf 2.0 but it does not look the same. Mine has the outlet tubes lined up and the part i ordered was shaped more like a rectangle with a tubes on each corner. They are both ignition coils but the one on my 2.0 has the part number 06A905097 i think. The other one i don't know what the number is but it does not look the same. because both ignition coils are for a 2.0 vw golf, same make and year range, are they interchangable? Why are there two different ignition coils? Just curious and concerned because the part i need seems to be more difficult to get a hold of. Help me out.

I own a 2003 PT Cruiser, installing a new battery, but when I just touch the positive cable to the post, it sounds like it wants to start, I do have an aftermarket alarm and the stealth alarm installed, I just assume that there is a fuse I need to take out before connecting the terminal and then I can put it back in, but where is it and which one?

Looking for a fuel effienceint small car. I'm looking at the Toyota Pruis, but I don't like the Pruis as much as the new Honda Insight. Also thinking about the Honda Fit, Mini Cooper, or Volkswagen Jetta 2.0 TDI. The Pruis has the highest EPA ratings, but I've heard in car magazines that the Insight is capable of 50 mpg easily and the Jetta TDI averaged 59mpg in a cross country road trip of some people in the magazine. I have a budget of $25000, which put the Pruis just a little too high. Which of these is the one to get?

Please recommend some sporty, good mileage hatchbacks with automatic transmission and AWD or 4WD?

Like everyone, our family is experiencing the impact of the economy and needs to make some changes with our vehicles. We have a 2005 GMC Sierra and 2003 Honda Civic EX and need/want to move to 1 vehicle that is somewhere in between the 2 sizes.

I drive 50-75 miles a day, so I'm definitely interested in consideration for fuel economy, while at the same time gaining some space to cart the family (2 kids and a dog, with associated stuff) on weekends.

And then there is the consideration of a car that's great to drive (i.e. I am NOT getting a minivan), but at this point I am struggling with the choice of larger sedan, wagon, or SUV. I don't want to waste dealers' time by trying out several vehicles, so I need to get narrowed down just a bit.

How do I get more legroom? 78 Datsun 510.

Ok, new question about my 78 Datsun 510. Is it possible to remount the seat farther back. I thought I could just drill new holes, but upon further inspection, I realized that part of the undercarriage raises up for the seat to latch onto. Is there a product I can used to extend the track, or a way to modify? Please help, I feel like I'm stuck in an egg.

What are some of the best cars with fold flat seats for sleeping in, with a low price but also value and safety?
