I'm a 24yo female w/ a baby on the way so i want something that is safe, reasonable and reliable. I've been looking at: Mitsubishi Outlander, Buick Rendezvous, Chrysler Pacifica. I want low miles and around a 2005. I wanted to get a better idea of how much the were going for and what kind of problems people havve had with them. I mainly want more knowledgable people to give me advice!

We've noticed the front seats in our new 2008 V6 RAV4 Sport are not very comfortable. After about 30 minutes I'm squirming to get comfortable. I'm used to the Sienna, my hubby has a MazdaSpeed3, and the seats in those cars were/are much more supportive. We've played with the seat adjustment to no avail. Any ideas?

I just got back from a test drive of a Veracruz. Really nice!

My question is that I can't find any info on the corporate web site that explains the 4 wheel drive system. To add to my confusion, there is a button on the dash above your left knee that locks the 4 wheel drive system. I don't know if it is AWD all the time and when you push the button to lock, that it changes to true 4 wheel drive or if it is two wheel drive until you push the button, etc,etc. If some one could point me to a link that would be great.

How do you top tether a rear facing car seat on a 07 tahoe with second row bucket seats? I do not want to tether to the back of the seat because it is not as secure. I cannot find an anchor point on the driver's seat other than the seat track which prohbits me from moving my seat back.

If we open the back of our 2004 Endeavor it won't close again if it is below freezing outside. We have tried blow drying and warm water. IF we manage to get one (door or window) closed, then the other will not close.

Do I need heavier 4WD vehicles for mild off-road such as fire roads, and for heavy snow on mountain roads to ski resorts in the Cascades, or will the smaller AWD SUVs be good enough? I'm not a big off-roader and don't tow anything but 2-3 times a year, but Baker Mtn has some narrow, slow, roads with lots of snow.

I've heard both sides.

Sandman don't laugh too hard. But I do have a digital camera, but don't have a clue how to send pictures. I've had it 3 years. I'll call my friend and ask him to show me. It's White, with the dark Bug screen, and Sunroof Foil, and rear foil.And dark window shades. But I recently put on a beautifull Stainless Steel wrap around Grille Guard [EURO] from Hunter. I measure 55-60 degree air coming out of my A/C measured with a thermometer inserted into a dash vent. I took it to the dealer who says he measured 37 degrees and said there is no problem. Do other Wrangler's get colder than mine? I also have a 2002 Grand Cherokee which has a great A/C.

My wife and I live in the city. We share a car and only drive about 10,000 miles per year. The lease is about to end on our '06 Audi A4 3.2, and we decided to save money by paying cash for a used SUV. (We have a second kid on the way and will need the space.)

What do you recommend? We want to spend under $20k (given how little we drive). I love my Audi, generally like German cars, and I've seen some good prices on used Touaregs and X5's.

For a trailer rated at 2700 lbs, dry weight, can I tow it with a vehicle rated at 3500 towing ability?

well one day shut it off, went for lunch, then it wouldnt start, poured gas in throttle body, it would run till gas ran out, so I disconected the inlet to the fuel filter and tried starting, but no fuel came out...
went for some supper called tow truck, while waiting with the inlet line still disconnected, i tried starting and gas started pouring out?, so i connected fuel line to filter and it started no problem drove it home.

Next day started no problem, drove around town, came home shut it off, and wouldnt restart, this time poured gas in throttlebody and still wouldnt even start this time, "scratching head"

check all fuses, replaced relay, disconected fuel line and retried, no fuel coming out...
Left for a few days, went out tried to start started right up, tried 3 times then would start with or with gas in throttle body, i have ordered a new pump, and have changed fuel filter, just not sure why it all works one day then nothing, what really gets me is it will crank over but seems to be getting no spark and no fuel.

Any help would sure be nice.

I have been looking for a reliable suv. My Husband and I have kept the Land Rover LR3 on the top of our short list along with the MDX AND BMW X5. However, as much as I love the LR3, I have heard of some major issues. After doing some research all Land Rover SUV's seem to have some kind of issue. We have owned a volvo xc90(brake issues and door popping open), Lexus GX470 (shimmy of steering wheel when braking), but we are not happy with any so far. We are back to driving our Ole 4runner, and doing fine with it, however, would like to upgrade to a little style and comfort.
