I have removed the tire, caliper assy, and brake rotor. I have a set of metric sockets from an auto repair store. I am unable to get the nut to move at all. It is not rusted, and the treads do not appear to be damaged. I don't see a locking washer or anything like that.
Is the nut just torqued that hard, or is there someother thing I need to remove.

the last time my awd light came on it was a wheel bearing bad how do i tell what wheelbearing it is

My local Discount Warehouse store says they cannot only order one tire because I have AWD and if I replace one tire it could cause damage to my car. Nobody I have talked to agrees with that. Does anybody know if that is true?

I am currently trying to replace wheel studs on a 2005 Buick Rendezvous. I can't remove the spindle nut. Help

I need to remove the factory radio from our 2003 Buick Rendezvous. Hopefully to remove misplaced pennies. I also have noticed that a couple of the steering wheel radio control buttons are no longer illuminated.

the moan and groan is pretty loud at 2100 rpm, and when you hit very small bumps it sound like a tight drum. any ans. to the problems.

My gear shift is on the steering wheel not located in the console area..
Is this a part of the fuse box. We are going to try to eliminate labor cost and install ourselves then take to dealer to have programmed. But I am not even sure of the location!!!

My 04 RDV has 79k. Recently, it just started making a knocking noise in the front suspension area when I go over bumps. I had a 93 mazda 626 with a similar problem and it was remedied by changing the ball joints. The knocking occurs at slow speeds and is quite pronounced when I make a turn in either direction over a bump. If I go over a bump with both wheels it's fine. What are the average repair costs for something like this?

I have a 2002 Rendezvous, when I step on the brakes, Sometimes it feels like the ABS are working on snow, but this happens on dry pavement. the brake peddle pulsates as if the vehicle was going to slide, and the same noise as the ABS in the winter. Also on acceleration sometimes get the same sound and the TC ( tire change symbol would appear. Please help !!!

The AWD disable and anti lock lights are on. After driving for maybe 3 miles the brake pedal become hard and I'm unable to accelerate. When I remove my foot from the gas pedal the car stops. I have had the brake pads, rotors, callipers, and brake master cylinder replaced, but still same problem. After the car sits for a day I'm able to drive it but still same problem. Any help would be appreciated!

Rear window will not operate. Dealer said a wire was broken from front master window switch to left rear window switch. Tech jumpered the wire. Window worked. I'm looking for a wiring schematic to try and isolate the proeblem myself. Anyone got anything? Please?

Front driver's window stopped going back up all of the way after lowering it. Finally, it stopped going back up all of the way and was stuck with about 2" of the window showing. I manually raised the window by applying pressure with my hands to both sides of the window. Once raised, I duct-taped it closed (temporarily). I could hear the motor working when I push the window button to raise it, but the window didn't move at all. How do I get to the components of the window to see what may be the problem that is preventing the window from raising? Thanks.

My 2002 Rendezvous abruptly stalled with no warning. No time to pull it over. Nearly was hit by other cars. Would not restart for me and after pushed into a parking lot would not start for other bystanders. Had difficulty starting it earlier that day but no further trouble until this incident. Tow truck called and of course it started for the owner of the repair service. It was taken to his shop and he has been trying for 2 days to get it to do it again to try to assess what is problem. Hooked it up to computer but could find nothing wrong. He indicates he is going to call GM to see if they can give him a clue. Have to make 5 hour trip this weekend and this is only vehicle I have. Am worried because if it conks out on busy Interstate like it did on Main St. the other day I'm liable to be clobbered by another vehicle. Any ideas about what is causing this. Thanks

Rebuilt transmission/OD in Aug 2008, car still spitting up hill, not really wanting to go, computer read out states EGR valve needs to be replaced. I drove this car for 30 mins early morning, parked the car for about 2 hours, started the car and the car died, could not keep it running without holding down the brake and giving it a lot of gas. I replaced the EGR valve, car still will not run, took off the catalytic converter, car still will not run. Any suggestions? This car has 240,000 miles.

I recently got a "Service Traction Control" message on my '04 Rendezvous. the only problem is that it goes away if i turn the engine off for a couple of seconds and restart. The "trac off" & "anti-lock" lights are displayed at the same time. they perform the same behavior.After i restart it's like every thing is fine. could this be a computer glitch, or do i really have to have them serviced? Note: I just failed an inspection because my emission sensors kept giving the "not ready" message. Is all of this related?

My 2002 Buick Rendezvous AC does not get cold. I had the coolant checked. The mechanic said that the pressure was OK and does not require to be recharged. He said that it possible that it may be one of the electronic board in the system. It may cost up to $500.00 to find the problem. Can someone help, Please.

The inside 'Right' dashboard turning signal and outside 'Right Front' turning signal lamp blink fast. All the other front and rear lamp functions are working fine. Again, no lamps have gone out. Only the braking and turning functions on the 'right rear' have stopped.
Note: Cigarette lighters and Accessory Power Outlets both front and back went out about a year ago, and I was told to replace the needed fuse. Forgot about it so this hasn't been done yet. Since no lamps have gone out I'm hoping this is simply a fuse replacement issue. If yes, can you confirm which fuse(s) need replacing? I do have the vehicle manual and have viewed the fuse usage section. Thanks for any wisdom on this...
