Why are my dashboard lights so dim?

I can barely see the dashboard...how do I fix that?

Where are the fuses that control the key reminder buzzer, dome light and cargo light?

My key reminder, dome light and cargo light all quite working about a week ago. I have checked fuses in both locations and cannot find a bad one. The head light buzzer does not work either.

Chevy S-10 dome light won't turn off.

I replaced the door switches and interior module. The dome light stays on with the roller switch removed. Why is this?

Tail lights, dash lights, and fog lights went out. Fuses are all good. Can't find the problem.

I have heard that its possible to repair the dash lights on many late model bmw's without. the red lights in the dash and center display have some pixels that are dim but some are also fine. anyone have suggestions for repairs without replacement???? i would definitely appreciate the help

Thanksgiving my old 90's Toyota was stolen. Had to get a new one. Try the Toyota Corolla but I too tall and my knees hit the steering wheel.
I had to get the Corolla Matrix red 03 XT. I fit comfortably. I notice that there is no illumination on the driver's side dash light switch control switch and all the door switches and the above electric sun roof switch.

I would like to know how I can change this?

I have a '98 Ford Windstar.What would make the door ajar and dome lights stay on? I checked relays & fuses.

The door ajar and all courtesy lights stay on and the battery saver does not activate. It thinks there is a door open.

Mercury Sable door ajar indicator stays on causing interior lights to stay on.

This happens when I get in the car and close the drivers door. Does not happen every time.

When the light stays on, opening and closing the door doesn't shut it off. It goes off when it feels like it, sometimes while driving. I had to remove the dome light bulbs so I can drive at night. Can't find any switches around the door frames. Are they inside the door?

I have 1987 cougar when you put head lights on the dash lights go out and
you have drive guess what speed your doing and npw the dimmer isn't working. we already change the main relay switch so itsn't that what I want to know is there any other fuses or relays that could cause this and where would they be located...

I have a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero. The dash lights won't come on, checked fuses seem ok. Everthing else works. Any ideas?

The dash has white plates with green digits.

I have checked/replaced the bulb, it's good. There are 2 wires from the socket (blue/white, orange), the blue/white wire has power the orange wire does not. However when I put in the socket into the lens holder the 2 wires now has power but the bulb does not work. Hope you can shed some LIGHT on this question.

An 8-hour night driving from Fairfield, CA to Moreno Valley, CA my instument illumination did not turn on. I check all the fuse under the driver's side and found no shorted fuse, then I check the fuse box on the engine compartment and found a 10amp illumnation fuse burnt out.

I just got my 2004 Chevy Cavalier and one of the speedometer cluster lights is blown. Anyone know how to replace it?

The light that is supposed to glow that is under the console where the gear shift is located no longer works. This is the bulb that lets you see the gear stick position. I want to change the bulb - assuming it is burnt out. How do I get at the bulb? how do I dismantle the console or do I?

Can the dashboard display color on 2009 VW Jettas be changed? The purple and red is terrible for night vision.

A knowledgable friend told me the reason military jet fighters have orange displays is that orange is best for nite vis...I tend to agree w/ him; I rode in a friends car w/ blue display and its terrible. Very tiring to the eyes. I'm interested in the JEtta, but it has a horrible combination of red AND bluish/purple. Wondering if it can be changed??
