2001 Olds Alero with clicking noise coming from the Hazard Switch. Replaced switch, noise still there.

2001 Olds Alero - There is a clicking noise coming from the Hazard switch in the dash when the directional signals and Hazards are off. The clicking is fast and disappears when the directionals or hazards are used. I ordered a new switch from the local chevy dealer and replaced it, but the noise is still present. I have been checking on posts to see if there have been any other solutions. Besides changing the hazard switch, I saw one that said they had to replace the directional signal switch. Could I have a brand new hazard switch that is bad, or is it more likely a bad turn signal switch? Help before I spend the money on a turn signal switch.

Hi I have a 2001 BMW Z3 2.5 roadster - recently I wrote to you guys about the woofer blowing out (still have not resolved that) but now i notice that the left side of the car's lights are out. The yellow part of the headlight, the taillamp, and the left side of the license plate. The interior light is also out. I tried switching bulbs from the right side of the car that work to the left but no luck. Is something bigger happening here than just blown bulbs?

During the day with the automatic daytime running lights on, when I turn on the turn signal, the running lights go off. When the turn signal goes off, the lights come back on. How are the daytime running lights tied to the turn signals?

The automatic headlights work fine, it switches from daytime running lights to head lights at dark and back again when it is light. All the lights work fine and the light switch works fine. When the headlights are on in automatic mode, I can use the turn signal and the lights stay on like they are supposed to. Has any one heard of this one?

The turn signal and rear brake light on my 2002 BMW 325xi does not work and the bulb is not burnt out. Initially, the light was burning out frequently, now the bulb is fine but the turn signal and brake light don't work. I know someone else with a 2003 325xi with the same problem but after messing around with the wires, it started working. I don't want to pay big bucks for an electric system analysis if someone else has had the same problem and knows the answer. I'm wondering if it is a defect with the model since I know someone else with the same unsolved issue.

I have a 96 Accord with blown lhs front indicator. I cannot get the light unit out to change the bulp, any tips or tricks? I can see only 1 screw on top of the light assembly (for the indicator), If I remove it the light seems to still be held in place by more screws, cannot find any, is there a clip or something I need to unhook? I can see some water drops inside the lens, will probably be able to spot adamage once the unit is outside....

The blinkers don't work, yet the hazards do. The bulbs and fuses are all ok. I think it may be a relay of some sort. 2002 Saturn L200. I called the Saturn dealer and they have never heard of this problem. They also told me they couldn't look up a part number for the relay switch. And the auto part stores can't get the part - they tell me that I can only get it at the dealer. Any suggestions?

Pontiac Grand Am signal light sounds when signals not activated. Sound comes on by itself intermittently while driving straight. Help!

2004 Pontiac Grand Am
While driving down the road ( or not ) there is the sound of a signal light flashing coming from the center console area.No flashers come on. This sound happens when the signal light switch is not activated. When the signal lights are activated they work fine. After they turn off the clicking sound may come on again or not. This happens intermittently and only every so often. It began while ( and at the beginning) of a road trip of approx. 3000 miles or so. One GM dealership service department rep
listened to it while the car was parked in their lot. The sound came on with the ignition switch being turned on.The motor does not need to be running to hear the clicking sound.Near the end of our trip the sound diminished to dying battery sound ( growl) but still happens once in a while.Yesterday it got louder again without going into the growl mode. Any ideas? Please help. Thanks

When burn out happens, drivers side begins rapid flahing and passenger side remains normal. I've replaced a number of bulbs as well as the socket itself.
