I just don't get enough leg room with the current seats - seats need to be further back and higher. I'm thinking that an 05 60/40 bench seat with height adjustment will work.

Should I receive a refund on Simonize warranty since I no longer have the car? I was told by my new car dealership I could. It would be prorated? Now the old dealership is saying no. I only had it for 2 yrs and I purchased it for 5.

How do you remove very strong solvent odor from carpet/leather interior? An unknown substance apparently was spilled on cargo area carpet of a used GMC Yukon XL. Relatively faint smell initially. After vehicle sat for a day in the sun with the windows up, the odor had magnified significantly. After riding in the vehicle less than 10 minutes we experienced head ache and raw nose and throat. Dealer is attempting to fix problem - has had vehicle 8 days at this point - shampooed carpet at least 3 or 4 times - odor still there. I have already paid for the vehicle in full. Now I'm really doubting the purchase and wonder if I can get out of it. We really like the vehicle, but in no way want to be riding around inhaling possibly toxic fumes. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Found an electric seat that will work for my car (1987 528e) in a junk yard. I need the assembly off of it. ( Motors and rails ) I can't get to the 2 front mounting bolts because the assembly is all the way forward. Is there an easy way to move the seat with no power?

I'm looking for a new car. I like the Honda Accord, but need the passenger seat lumbar support. Any suggestions?

I have back problems and it seems most cars I'm looking at offer lumbar support on driver's seat only. The dealership said the seat could not be ordered for the passenger side. Any suggestions for similar sedans as the Honda Accord that would have passenger side lumbar support?
Otherwise, I will have to do all the driving on family trips!!

I have a 2006 A4 6 speed and find the seat very uncomfortable. I drive approx 150 miles per day and my back is very sore. I have no place to put my right foot as the panel runs directly down next to it.

Anyone else have this? Any solutions? Is it because it's a manual transmission?

I took my 05 G35 to an upholstery guy and he said the glue behind the raised lettering area on the seat has had some kind of reaction with perhaps perspiration or something. But I now have several holes ranging from 1/2 inch to 2 inches by 1/2 inch. Just wondering if others have had any of the same problem?

For all of you who drive the 2005-09 Subaru Legacy, do you experience any leg or knee pain or problems while driving? The 2007 Toyota Corolla was purchased with 28 miles on it. The carpet mats purchased with the car has been replaced twice. The hole in the floor capet (where the clips secure the carpet mats is getter bigger and bigger. Will the manufacturer repair this?

I broke the power driver's seat in my 2006 Sienna LE. Dealer says $4400 for a replacement. Out of town junkyard has a manual seat from a 2006 Sienna CE for $100 plus shipping. Before I have it shipped to me, I need to find out if it will bolt right in or if I am asking for trouble.

My 07 Toyota Corolla drivers seat looks worn and squeaks. The dealer's manager says nothing can be done. Is this true?

Only the driver's seat has places where the fabric is worn. A district manager looked at the seat and said that was normal. The seat even now squeaks when you sit on it. The 2007 Corolla has 33,250 miles. It appears that where the cushion get folds, is where the fabric looks worn. Is the dealer not responsible for this? Should I take the car back to where it was purchased?
