Hi,
I am looking for an electrical switch which is normally closed, but open momentarily whenever a current stop goes through. That is, I need a switch that is closed regardless of the status of circuit (whether it has current or not) but only open momentarily when current goes off.

Thank you

I need to replace my 2000 Voyager multifunction switch (turn signals, wipers) since the old one broke off. What previous years provide compatibility? I've found a used switch from a 97, but I see on monsterautoparts.com that there's a model for 96-97 and another for 98-00. Thanks!

I want to check the relay switch before I change the wiper motor. I checked the fuse already under the driver side area by the front hood release and it's fine. I do not want to pay someone $200-$300 to fix this when my dad is really good with vehicles. We just don't know where the relay switch is, if there is even one on this model. I had AutoZone looking the Haynes book and we couldn't find anything on it. I looked in the owners manual...nothing.

The horn doesn't work. I checked all the fuses #35 15 Amp. is the horn and it's good. In order to access the horn itself requires removing the front bumper. So I'm going to try the easier route with the horn button. The problem I have is there are no screws holding it to the steering wheel. I don't want to risk trying to twist counter-clockwise or clockwise for removal. Any advice? I bought the car new it has 53,000 miles. This is the first repair in twenty years.

I parked my truck at an airport outdoor parking lot for about 40 days. When I returned my keyless entry remote didn't work. (ck'd battery and is o.k.) I also have discovered my headlights, dome lights, and power locks no longer work as well. I took to the dealership and they want to replace a computer for the tune of $450. I heard it might be a relay switch. If so, where is this "relay switch"!

Vehicle: 2001 Ford Explorer Sports Trac: Problem: Key won't unlock drivers side door, when you use the key, it seems to be stuck, it will turn some, just not enough to unlock door and if it truns all the way it is like your forcing it. The power door lock will not unlock door, other doors will unlock, but drivers side will move but won't unlock. Keyless entry acts the same as the power lock. Handle on door a lot looser the the handle on the passenger door. It will flap in the wind while driving down the highway. Can always open drivers door from inside handle when you want to exit vehicle or enter vehicle from passenger side. Took door panel off drivers side, but can't see anything obviously wrong.

My 2001 stratus will not crank at all. I have jumped the starter off the battery and it cranks. I think it is the Park/neutral safety switch. i was wondering if anyone knows exactly where it is? I got the haynes manuel and it said it was by the shifter. I looked, there was one that had a cable that went to the ignition switch, is that it or is it on the Trans?

98 Ford Explorer XLT door lock switch will not lock, just opens both passenger and driver's side. Switch in hatch locks and opens.

When I bought the car used, the remote would open but not lock the doors. The alarm system thinks it is locked because you could arm it just by pressing the lock button. I would lock the doors by pressing the switch on either door. Recently, both switches will now only open, they will not lock, but the switch in the hatch still locks and opens the doors. The touch pad on the drives door also will open just the drivers door as it should, and all the doors when 3/4 is pressed. It cannot be used to lock the car, but will activate the alarm if you enter the code and it thinks you are locking it. I changed all 4 relays in the back, no help. All fuses are ok.

It makes this buzzing sound, sounds like 2 quick buzzes. Normally my car will buzz, if my door is open or if my headlights are on, both of those are not the case and the manual only tells me those 2 options for the buzzing noise i hear. I tried contacting Mitsubishi, was a waste of time they told me to talk to a dealer and that didnt help much, once my car is pull away and start driving the buzzing will stop, I havent notice anything else wrong with my car performance wise so i am at a loss any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a 2003 VW Jetta. The trunk remote unlock stopped working both on the door panel and key fob?

The 2003 Jetta was working great no issues until I decided to detail it this morning. I waxed it and cleaned the interior and engine compartment then I tried to unlock the trunk using the key remote. Nothing happened. I tried the switch on the driver door panel. Nothing happened. I tried the door locks on the key remote and they do not work. They do work on the door panels. The door open light on the dash stays on. The door locks do not lock while driving like they are supposed to. The batteries in the key remote are good. I started checking fuses, but don't see one that would relate to the problem. Please help if anyone knows what this is.

Electonic puzzler 04 Pontiac Vibe

Problem with 04 Vibe Console electronics not shutting down when the ignition does. At times it works fine and then it will refuse to shut off. As I write it is not working at all.
Next the key ignition warning also stays on when the
key is out. This key warning problem started after a recall window problem was repaired and the door holder was broken in that process. We have pulled the fuse so these two don't drain the battery! Wondering WHAT is causing this and the simplest way beside the fuse pulling to solve this one?

What is going on with my power locks? Ford f-150 Super Crew.

I have a 2007 F150 Super Crew, and in the past few days it has begun locking and unlocking repeatedly while I'm driving. Normally it is just supposed to lock when I put it in gear after starting the vehicle and unlock when I put it in park, but now it's going crazy while I drive. It seems to happen when it shifts, as it does not happen when I have the vehicle on cruise control, just when I speed up or slow down. I plan to take it in for repair, but I was just curious as to whether or not anyone had heard of or experienced this?
