Question about a Chevrolet Blazer engine. Is it supposed to bend up on the bottom?

Okay. My question is to whether or not I should spend more money to get this problem fixed (wats the cost) or should I spend money on a new/ used vehicle. Okay, so my bf was driving home one night and didn't notice the road work construction sign that was facing gray side up. It had gotten lodged under the front end of the truck. So he pulled over, took it out and started the truck back up and continued home. All the lights were on on the dashboard and he mentioned the engine itself was very very loud. We had no idea how bad of damage the truck had encountered. But the tow guy mentioned it was looking like it was just a new belt , brake line, and radiator fan. So I decided to pay to get it out and get those parts fixed. But I was putting a new belt on and noticed the.. ummm. the very bottom circle that it looks as if its been pushed up. It's about a 1/2in from the center circle thingy. I looked at my dads truck and noticed its supposed to be straight up and down like the others... So how do I get that fixed and is it worth it? So far I've spent $900. Sry Im not good with car parts. Thnx, a college student

After doing some research on ebay for replacement parts I've noticed that they have different letter codes (example: B8 is a code for one).

What letter code is stock for this model? will any other versions work?

How hard is it to replace? basic rundown on what I'll need to do. looks like just unplug the power and brake lines, install the new module, reinstall brake lines and power, rebleed and i'm done?

Worse in cooler rainy conditions. brakes have been checked there were problems but repairing them did not make the noise disappear. At highway speed the noise disappears completely. I'm thinking something in the suspension but the mechanics have yet to identify the problem. Any suggestions

I have a 1989 S-10 Blazer that I absolutely love as my getting out of town vehicle. I was planning to drive up to the mountains this weekend and check out the snow for a few hours.

I took it out last night to make sure everything was running well, and I cannot get the front window to de-fog. I live in Arizona, and it was a rainy night and the temperature was about 45.

I tried every option, defogger on with hot air blowing, with cold air blowing, windows slightly down to let out my hot steamy air, windows up all of the way, nothing blowing at all. I even bought rain-x defogging chemical and that worked for a few minutes. But when I went somewhere for an hour and came back to the car, it was all fogged up and it would not clear up.

I waited about 5 minutes before driving, and in my 15 minute drive home I had a window clearing space of about 6 inches to look out of.

I suspect that there is no freon, as I have not used A/C in a couple of years. I just avoided the car in the really hot months. Could the lack of freon have anything to do with it?

Any ideas would be appreciated. I could not the rear one going either but it was too dark to check the fuses. I will do that today.

Thanks.

I think my dealer defrauded me by creating a new oil leak on my 05 Chevy Blazer bottom front of engine?

My 2005 Blazer 4.3 v6 only has 22k on it - mint condition, never driven hard or offroad.
I took it in for oil change, and after that I now notice oil drops in my drive way. I took it back in he removed the front bash plate and instantly told me it was leaking from a spot on the bottom of the engine near the very front. HE pointed to what looked like some sensor gadget that screws into the bottom front of the engine. It was very near where the crank shaft comes out and mounts the pulleys. He also said it might be the seal area where the pulleys are attached to the crank. Front engine seal looks like.
I have a feeling he is scamming me. This did not leak before I brought it in for the oil change. But suddenly started leaking after I got back from him. Is it normal for this kind of leak to appear on this engine?
What should I do?

I picked up a slug of water i think and need to purge the fuel line. I cant find where the fuel enters the engine. It is a 4.3 with multi port FI. I would like do dissconnect it there and run the fuel pump unless you have a better idea. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
