Is it difficult to replace a brake proportioner on a 1990 Chevy G20 Van? Any tricks I should know?

Disc brakes pulling hard to right on 88 Chevy van. Replaced both calipers and one flex hose. What should I try next?

Rotors are rusted but both are equally in that condition. Replaced Right flex hose. Van was not used for several months. Bled both front brakes when I replaced calipers. Could it be the left flex hose or are ther other explanations.

tilt slide all ok mood aircraft and tv stopped suddenly

bulbs look ok

lighting panel at left footwell are all on as in serviceable ..yellow lights on ..when lighting selected at main panel at centre console

95 Chevy G30 van 8cyl 5.7L does not show up on government Cash for Clunkers list. What can we do to get it on quickly ?

The government list shows 1993 and 1994 Chev G30 vans with the 8cyl and 5.7 L but the 1995 van is not on list. We have a pending trade and need to get it qualified very soon. We want to find out how to do this (we have emailed and submitted info through the cars.gov web site).

I am considering buying a 1995 Chev MARK111 conversion van in good condition.

This is a V6 somewhat loaded w.electric bed. It appears to be in good condition externally and I will have the automotive checked. The asking price is $6,995.00 and I am wondering if that is a fair price. I tried blue book and nada with little information. Maybe I didn't know how to pull it up. 2002 Chevy Venture. Rear A/C sometimes blows hot air (like heater but on A/C), other times normal, cold and fine.

My 2002 Chevy Venture has a separate control for the rear A/C. Most of the time it is fine and cold like A/C should be, other times it is hot, as if I had the heater on (I have checked, and I don't). When it does this the front A/C is still blowing cold. It is at the dealers right now for repairs but since it won't do it now they won't even consider the problem. My very expensive extended warranty ends this month so I'd really like it fixed NOW. I saw one other person with the same problem, but no response. Has anyone else had this problem? And more important, any diagnosis, ideas, or solutions??? I'm on a timeline, so quick response would be appreciated. Thanks so much

2002 Chevy Venture. Front windshield defrost whistles very loudly.

When I turn on the defrost for the front windshield it whistles very loudly (the higher i turn it the louder the whistle). It is very annoying and makes us avoid using the defrost until absolutely necessary. Except for the whistle it seems to work fine. The only other possible connected problem I see is that some of the dash vents don't put out much air like I think they should (but they are quiet). My warranty expires the end of the month and I would really like it fixed. The dealer says that because they have seen one other one that does the same thing they think it must be how it is supposed to work--I say that both vans just happen to have the same problem! Has anyone else had the same problem? Does anyone have one that works right WITHOUT THE WHISTLE SOUND? Any thoughts? Solutions? Diagnosis? I'm on a timeline crunch so quick help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks SOOO MUCH!!!

there is water coming from the radiator and they think that the oil has water in it and so does the antifreeze have water in it
and water is coming out of the carburetor
oil is leaking on top end of motor

1984 Chevy G30 motorhome 350 engine. Have EXTREME HEAT on passenger side floor and dog house. Too hot to touch.

Does not appear to be any leaks in exhaust manifold and is relatively quiet and engine runs well. Heat has scorched carpet padding and made rubber mat burnt and flaky.

1. Even though it calls for 5W30 GM dealerships are using 10W30, is it because of the climate. We live in west texas. I have 10W30 in all my vehicles because I heard of a recall on the Castrol GTX 5W30 oil. And I prefer Castrol GTX. I called GM and they know nothing of the recall. And now I'm in the process of changing out all the vehicles to 5W30 again. Since you answered my question.

I'm confused about weights of oil, what is the difference between 5W30 and 10W30?

I had a 99 Silverado with a 6liter and put 10W30 in it according to the temperatures in the owners manual. Wouldn't it be the same on my 2007 8.1liter GMC Sierra? My 6liter had 190,000 miles on it and never burned oil.

Differential leak one month after service. GMC Sierra 1500.

2005 Sierra 1500 with 54000 miles. Taken into GMC dealer service shop about two months ago for the differential fluid drain and replace service.

Last week I noticed oil leaking from somewhere. I couldn't pinpoint the leak so during oil change the same service techs said it was the differential pinion seal.

I estimate the leak to be about 3 to 4 weeks old by the amount of oil under truck and in driveway and street. Is this something possibly caused by the service tech by over filling or not possible?

I have a 1962 Willys pickup with a 6 cyl Hurricane engine. About 3 or 4 years ago I noticed that some of the spark plugs quit firing. I put new ones in and the engine ran fine then after a couple of tanks of gas some of the plugs would quit firing. Here is the weird part. If the a plug quits firing and I pull the spark plug wire off and hold it about a quarter inch from the top of the plug it will start firing fine but as soon as I touch the wire to the plug it will quit firing. Anyone got any ideas. I have put new points and condensor in about a year ago and it did not seem to help.

I want to know what Edmunds said about an 1984 Ford F-150 when it was new.

In 1967 before being discharged from the Air Force I purchased a 1967 Chevelle SS396.i drove it home to Ma. and had it registered in Ma until 1969 I then traded it for a Nova.I have regretted it ever since.I would like to know if:

2. where is it.

3. Is it for sale. How can I trace this vehicle I have the serial #, but when I put it in online for a car history report it won't take the serial # it is too short.
