Chevrolet Impala strange noise. Something to do with electrical?

hey 0patience, would appreciate your help. I bought a used 03 impala 3.4 , 60K + miles, 4 days ago and just today noticed sort of a low pitch noise in the cabin while breaking or just driving without pressing the gas pedal. weird thing is that there is no noise when breaking and I 1) press gas pedal, 2) press and keep holding power windows buttons or 3) turn on rear window defrost.. any idea what that might be? would appreciate any help. thanks!

Is anyone having problems with the 2006 Chevrolet Impala SS 5.3l engine consuming a qt. of oil every 2500 miles?

I've had problems with my 2006 Chevrolet Impala consuming oil since I purchased it. I have taken it to the dealership 3 times because the add oil light came on. I was told by one dealership that I didn't have to change the oil every 3000 miles and by another that I did have to. I was told that I should wait until the indicator was around 40% before getting the oil changed, which is usually around 5000 miles. Last friday the add oil light came on so I took it to the dealership. It was 2 quarts low with 45% oil life remaining. I have driven 5000 miles since my last oil change. I am being told that this is normal.

Had to take 2 trips during the winter months of approximately 600 miles in my 2008 black impala ss, bottom of door panels are now chipped and grey speckled. Very noticable and looks like crap! Have at least 10 rock chips on car hood, back quarter panel. <br>Went 35 mph on the roads that contained cinders. <br>Is the GM Paint / clear coat having issues? I love my Dealer, so I wanted to find out more before I approached him to stand behind it.

<br>Start with the active traction getting active at the most slightly accelerations. After some time I notice an obstruction when step on the brakes. I change brakes, they were wasted. I believed the problem will be fix, and they got fix in part. the obstruction when I step on brakes continue, not as much as before, but sometimes. Sometimes when I accelerate to get quick on to a lane, the active traction get shut off by it self and I got the ABS warning light illuminated. the question is. About how much will be to fix it? and what else i can do. To have an idea is going to be helpful <br><br>Thank you<br>

Why does the front end of my 2001 Chevy Impala rattle over bumps and bottom out at low speed when cold?

I can hear the rattle from underneath especially when going slow over bumps, and especially when it's cold. When the weather is warm, it doesn't rattle--the same for bottoming out. At highway speeds I hear no rattles. One mechanic couldn't find anything wrong with the suspension, while another said the upper front strut mounts need replacing. When it rattles, it sounds as if something is loose. Perhaps related, when the weather is cold, I hear a creaking noise when I brake to slow or to stop. Where I live, in order to access my car port, I have to drive through a roughly-paved, pot-holed alley. I suspect that constantly driving over this surface might have caused something in the suspension to wear out, but I can't figure out why the rattle and the creaking go away when the weather turns warm. I've also noticed that as I engage the car in reverse gear there is a creaking similar to when I brake, again when it's cold out. Has anybody had a similar experience?

Should I use aftermarket struts for my 2001 Chevy Impala?

Thanks for the two answers I received to my previous question about the rattle and bottoming out. I asked another mechanic who recommended replacing the McPherson struts, along with the upper strut mounts. Which brings me to this question: How good are aftermarket parts, especially for struts? I've done some research, and it seems the jury is still out there. Would you have any concerns about using any aftermarket part for your vehicle? Needless to say, I could save a lot of money by going aftermarket, but I hesitate because the suspension is a lot more critical than the aftermarket windshield I already have in my car.

Drive it for 2 weeks and you have to add fluid to the pump. Where is the fluid going if they have suppose to fix? And sometime when we take off at a red light the car seems to shutter like something is wrong with the transmission. It doesn't do it all the time.
'02 Chevy Impala leaking oil into coolant. How can I fix it without dropping a grand?

I brought it into a Hertz car care center and they told me I had an intake leak that was letting oil leak into the coolant and apparently some other fluids as well. They told me it would be around $1000, including a fluid flush. Are they right or is there a simpler solution?<br>

2003 Chevy Impala 3.4L missing

My 03 Impala 3.4L (134k miles) is missing badly. The miss or stagger goes away at higher speeds. However, when I take my foot off of the throttle, the engines stalls. It will start back up, but I have to press the throttle pedal for it to start. Even when cold starting I have to evemtually press the pedal for it to start. I have repalce the plugs, wires, air filter, pcv valve and boot, and I've checked the vacuum hoses. I also checked each ignition coil. A scan was done by autozone and the scan comes back with &quot;Bank 1 is too rich&quot;. I do not remember the code #. Also there was a random misfire code as well. I also checked the Idle Air Control valve and its fine. Timing issue possibly? Sensor somewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated.<br><br><br>t
