If a new Instrument panel cluster is not fixing my speedo could it be bad or dirty Speed Sensors?

Okay I've had 5 yes 5 instrument panel clusters put in at my local "Parts changer" on my 2004 Z71 4x4 5.3L V8 with no luck in fixing my Speedo that only wants to work some times, half the time it will stay at zero or bounce from current speed to a lower speed. I plan on taking out my Speed Sensors in the Transfer case and cleaning them with some electric parts cleaner to see if that works, other wise its $80 for two new ones? Any one else do this repair before or have the same speedo issue? Am I going to have fluid from the transfer case come out when I un-blot these speed sensors?

Why would Chevy put StabiliTrak AND traction control on a Z71 4x4? It defeats the purpose especially in mud.

I went mudding for the first time in my new 2007 Chevy Z71 4x4 and I almost got stuck(not being familiar with these nannies). When you are deep in it and turn the wheel either direction, the engine revs down and braking starts to happen to get you back on course BUT in mud anytime it slows too much it is a handicap because you have to keep up speed so that you DONT get stuck. This is my 6th Z71 and the first time with this stabilitrak/traction control combo.I am used to just kicking it in to 4hi/4lo and punching it until "I" decide to take my foot of the pedal but not anymore.
HELP!!!!!!Is ther anyway to disengage this part so as too not be penalized going into the deep stuff.

I have a 2003 Tahoe Z71, 5.3V8. The turn signals work perfectly during the day with the headlights off and daytime running lights on. At night when headlights are on when you turn left or right the indicators on the dash and the mirrors flash rapidly with the direction turning brighter than the rest. When you apply brakes the indicators on the dash and mirrors light up dimly and no brake lights. I have had problems with the wipers not turning off at times. Checked all bulbs. Does anyone have a clue?

My 04 Tahoe thermometer and compass in the rear view mirror do not work. The unit seems to have power and will display all of the LED lights when I turn it on, it just doesn't register the outside temp or compass direction. Seems like a sensor issue perhaps??? Has anyone had to deal with this? The Chevy dealer wants $75 just to drive through the door and if I can fix it I would love to.

I have a 2002 Chevy. Tahoe Z71. it has about 75k on it. About 2 years ago the security light started coming on. And every so often it would let me sit in the no start tamper proof mode for about 10 minutes.

Talking with the dealer they suggested the key housing as the problem. I had it replaced for about 300.00. it was off for about a week and then started coming on again, this time it does not put me in the no start mode but it will come on right at start up to waiting about 10 to 15 minutes.

I know GM has had problems with this security system in some of their cars for years. I am hoping someone has some insight on this.

Thanks, Dave
Can I safely pull a 25 ft. travel trailer which weighs 5,400 lbs with my new 2008 Tahoe Z71 4x4 5300V8? I know that the weight is comfortably within the maximum trailer weight of 7,200 (or 8,200?)noted in my manual. I purchased the vehicle because I planned to buy and tow a travel trailer with the Tahoe. I have recently heard, however, that the 25 ft. I'd hoped to pull may not be a good idea given the 116 inch wheelbase on the Tahoe. I've also heard that this may not be an issue because of the short overhang. I cannot find much on this topic. Does anyone have any related experience or knowledge to share?
