1997 Ford Aspire 2 door automatic hatchback takes 15-20 minutes to restart after driving on hot days with the AC on.

The car has 160,500 miles and gets regular oil changes and all other fluids checked, changed/flushed as needed. It runs fine, but on very hot days (85 degrees or higher) after driving with the A/C on it won't re-start for about 15-20 minutes after the engine is turned off. The temp gauge doesn't even get to the halfway mark between cold and hot when it does this. When I try to restart the car, it just makes a "click" sound. The battery and engine lights come on and the radio, fan, headlights, etc. work (I can't remember if I've tried the A/C, too), but the engine won't turn over until about 15-20 minutes have passed. I just took it in to have the problem checked, but the mechanic said he couldn't find anything wrong, and it was "probably just a coincidence." I asked if it could be a vapor lock and he said it might be and next time it happens I should try taking taking the gas cap off to relieve the vapor lock and then try starting it again. It hasn't been hot enough for the problem to repeat itself, so I haven't tried that. Could it be a vapor lock, or something else?

Can anyone help me find a 1992 Ford Aspire ignition switch?

Its simple, I need to buy a 1992 Ford aspire ignition switch for my daughters car. She accidently broke the key off in her car door unlocking it and she only had one key,We are unable to get a copy of the key without the key. Is it possible to get one at a salvage yard for that old of a car? What about a Ford dealer? Auto zone is out, I already called them.
