Trying to find source for a '72 Ford Club Wagon heater core. Ecomony heater core 6"x6". Tank adds 1", high output core won't fit.

I need to replace bad heater core-part not available from ford or standard part houses-they say obolete. Only one available is high output which is over a inch too long. Current one not repairable. Any suggestions on finding replacement core, I have tried local wrecking yards and searched internet, sending emails to many listed suppliers.<br>Don

I have seen a few around, it's a little taller than a typical station wagon, but it's got sliding doors, and it's a hatchback. Anyone know?
