Need weight info for a 1994 Ford 25v van/truck rated 3/4 ton.

Ford work truck van with ladder racks was involved in a hit & run accident with my Volvo XC70 and totaled it (T-bone hit). I'd like to compare the weight of the Ford work van to the weight of my Volvo. Van was in a SKID on icy roads, plowed into my car.

Insurance co won't believe this is possible for my car to be so heavily damaged by a truck that probably weighed 50% more than my Volvo! Need proof of weight of Ford van! thanks! Unsure as to exact model, but 94 VAN rated 3/4 ton.
Ford Econoline Transmission

First of all thank you for reading and considering my problem!

History
Purchased a Ford E350 Diesel Van Drove for a week and it drove perfect
about to go on a small road trip and noticed my back lights had stopped working ,Replaced fuse everything again fine ,Went to hook up small trailer, Plugs different so had to change a couple of wires no problem drove for a couple of days pulling trailer no problem pulled into parking lot had to back into spot
Pulled forward fine reversed fine had to pull forward again nothing! Would not move an inch
In fact it felt like the transmission did not even engage checked tranny fluid looked good but about a quart low so I topped it up nothing
Looking underneath at the tranny noticed a small black box connected to link I think it’s a torque converter switch (Maybe)
So started van put in neutral disconnected harness to black box and van will drive to about 20 mph like normal but will not change gear and then retards like it’s not getting enough fuel...
Ok had a local mechanic look at it and he said that because the trailer wire was hooked up wrong it sent the wrong info to the tranny and killed it.... But why would it drive normal up to that point No slip nothing,?? and why will it work just fine if I disconnect the black box even if only in fist gear
My problem is this I would hate to put in a new tranny Quoted $2800
And then find out its something with the computer\ or a relay or something along those lines (Of even you will just confirm that it is the tranny at least then i wont feel like i threw my money away!!!!
Now im no Mechanic but do enjoy doing my own maint on my trucks and I am mech minded and I can’t get away from thinking it’s the little black box not sending the correct info to my Tranny

can a tranny work just fine and simply just go out ? I have had a trannys go out on me before and usually its a proccess over a couple of days or weeks ,First the tranny not shifting when supposed to and then the slipping but this gave no warning zip it went from 100% to nothing between putting it in drive and then revers

Anyway sorry for the long story any help would be appreciated

Regards
Ford Econoline E150 V8 running rough. Is this a transmission problem?

Auto transmission van is fine starting and idling - with foot off gas. As soon as foot on gas, the engine gets a little rough, and then when in either 2nd or 3rd gear engine is very rough, bumpy ride, almost grinding, and have to inc speed to change to next gear to smooth it. Have checked transmission fluid for 2 years and still looks good. So, havent done anything with transmissin. Could it be something else? No jerking when going through gears when idling. Is it worth having a transmission flush or transmission service? Thanks for help.

Will my early model injected engine run just as well with a carb and regular intake manifold? Ford Econoline.

1991 351cid Ford in a Econoline 250 with 485K miles. (133K on current engine). I'm quadriplegic and unable to physically do anything about this. I am an inventor type and am currently experimenting with a hydrogen generator (HHO gas) to supplement gas and it's consumption. I'm concluding the computer senses additional oxygen and enrichens the mixture which reduces mileage instead of increasing. I'm an old 69's muscle car drag racer and understand those systems better than today's tech stuff.

Any suggestions on what else would have to be changed besides intake components?

I have a 1997 Econoline 350 with a V-10. It has about 340 thousand miles. The cruise went out a few months ago.I checked the fuses in both boxes as well as fusible links, all ok. It's so hard to work on without the Ford tools. There are no fault codes stored.

Deep moaning/howl from transmission (not rear end/diff) on my Ford Econoline Cargo van

I have a 1997 E-350 cargo van that just recently started this low moaning noise/low whine on acceleration. It sounds like a noise I hear that is similar to airflow across the extension ladder rungs/holes while driving but not. It has almost 300,000 miles and fluid changed every 50,000. It has the v-10 engine... What do you think? I hope it's not the trans going bad! Help!!

I have been having trouble starting my 2001 Ford Econoline van. It sometimes takes 7 or 8 tries to start, and I hear a click when it does not turn over. The automatic doors sometimes lock and unlock by themselves, which makes me wonder if the issue is not the starter. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I just bought a 2002 Ford XLT Super Duty Econoline 15 passenger van for our church. I need the wiring and electrical diagrams for the power locks since these ones are not working, there is not current, I jump the power windows live wire to the power locks and they did work, but only when the ignition is on. I hope some one out there can help me.
