What's the front end clunk in my 2007 Ford Edge?

My '07 Edge (~4500 miles) makes a loud clunk in the front end going over speed bumps and dips. The dealer says all the Edges on the lot do this (they claim they test drove them, but I wasn't there to hear if the others clunked). I've been driving a lot of years and never heard any clunking like this.

How do I turn-off the seat belt chime on a Ford Edge?

I use the belt, but sometimes I have to jockey the car in my lot a bunch and it's bugging me. No lectures please. :-)

How do you turn around or remove front passenger seat head rest in 2007 Ford Edge ? Hurts wife's neck & head.

Was able to remove driver's head rest and turn it around.(Depressed lock buttons and head rest slid right out). Passenger side will go to the top of allowable travel but will not come out ! Ford dealer,service manager also was unable to remove the head rest .

Has anyone heard anything about the problems with valve stems on 2008 Ford Edge?

I have a 2007 Ford Edge SEL PLUS and I could swear that on the front of the Rear View Mirror that those two lights/sensors were always Lit Up and Green. Now they are not and it seems the mirror Stays in the Darkened or Dimmed state. The dealership says No that they do not light up and said the mirror is operating correctly...

Edge climate control blows cold

As the temperatures have dropped, my Ford Edge climate control has begun to blow cold air long after the car is warmed up - the dash temp guage shows normal. The Climate Control "thinks" it should be warm air because the automatic fan kicks in, but the air is only cold. It is sometimes 10-15 minutes or longer before the air becomes warm, so I have to turn of the system and periodically try it to see if it is warm yet. Then once it blows warm, it is fine for the remainder of the trip. Any ideas?

Ford Edge navigation system?

How do you disable the nanny features on the Ford Edge navigation system? I like the Ford Nav system, but I hate the "nanny" features that keep you from making changes while the car is in motion. Does anyone know of a way to disable the nanny system?

I'm considering a Ford Edge AWD but live where in the northeast and want to be sure it handles okay in the snow. I've never had a FORD but I like the looks of the Edge. Also considering another Jeep but have had a few problems with my current one so am looking at other options.

Looking into 2008 Ford Edge, got an offer at $498/mo lease. $1000.00 down. It is the Limited and loaded except roof.

I have a 2008 Ford edge and am having problems with the chrome wheels pitting. I keep them as clean as possible and the Edge is garage kept but living in Pa. the winters are nasty. This is my first winter with the Edge and only owned it for 10 month and the wheels are already pitted I've used chrome polish on them with no luck what can I do or use?? Thanks

Thanks for the info on my 2008 ford edge wheels and your right I think they are only chrome plated. I talked to the ford dealer that I bought the edge from and he said he had 3 other people that have the same problem. I am going to take the edge to have the dealer look at the wheels but he already told me there should be no problem replacing the wheels ford is suppose to be coming out with a " New and Improved supposed?? chrome wheel...haha only time will tell

I'm researching the Ford Edge, Mazda Cx7, or the Acura RDX. All are priced about the same considering the opitions I want, but I'm thinking about the True Cost To Own aspect of all three. Will I be better off w/ a V6 (Edge) that can accept regular unleaded, assuming fuel prices will continue to rise?

I am looking at an Edge to tow a boat between 1500 and 2500 LBS I have read reviews and people seem to be surprised by the traction on unpaved muddy boat ramps. Would you reccommend that I tow with an Edge? Any suggestions. I travel light in gear just simple poles and tackle box and cooler and would take a max. of five people with me.
