porsche 911 sc targa 1982 was remodelled in 2000 with a 3.2 litre ruf tunned up engine. I took delivery from a car specialist who sold it to me on behalf of his client he told me there was a oil leak through the rings which is simple and will be rectified when i purchase it .I got the car yesterday and the dealer told me the leak have been rectified. I went for a spin last night. and today morning before starting the car i checked the engine oil it was below minimum. After the spin yesterday when parking i could smell like someting burning like tire or oil .Could you please advice me what is the problem as i will be sending the car back to the car specialist on 11/2/08 at least i can discuss the matter with him .There was a little sign of oil leak on the garage floor. thanks hanif
PLEASE IGNORE THE EARLIER ENQUIRY THIS IS THE CORRECTED VERSION THANKS!

1999 Porsche Carrera occasionally doesn't start.

1999 Porsche Carrera occasionally does not start. Dash lights come on, but no contact with starter when key is turned. I've replaced the electric part of the ignition switch module. Clutch switch seems to work. I have a fresh battery in the key. Car battery has over 12 volts, measured with a voltmeter at the jumper connections in the engine compartment.
Sometimes, if I flip the gear shift around or into first while holding the key in the start position, the engine will come to life. The dealer says that this is no written into any fault codes, so it doesn't show up on an OBD scanner. If I roll the car I can jump start it, no problem.

While changing our rear brakes on our 2006 Ford Mustang GT, we could not get the piston to retract for new shoes.

Used a c-clamp and piton retraction tool and neither would push the piston back to insert new brake shoes.
