How much do headlights for a GMC Envoy cost?

How much does the low beam headlights cost, as I used to own a GMC and they were as of 2 years ago over $611.00 dollars apiece. I need to replace the entire assembly as replacing the bulbs only won't work.

I had my brakes on my GMC Envoy 2004 changed. They stopped grabbing tightly. Did the mechanic do something wrong?

I had my breaks done at a well known place. After they finished the break job the breaks were very lose. They told me that it was something more than just that. I can't rememeber the exact name the mechanic use but it was near the place where the break fluid goes. This thing sits right behind the break fluid it is also round. The mechanic said that I have air in the line but that was not the case. A simple break job and now I am facing another 6 hours in this shop so they can figure out what they did wrong.Perhaps someone else is having the same problem with there 2004 GMC Envoy after they had the breaks replaced.

What is wrong with my GMC Envoy when the rear will not level with the front?

There is a whining noise coming through my Bose sound system when the engine is running. I purchased this Envoy about a 2 months ago from a Chevy dealer and have taken it on a few roads trips without this problem until today. Any suggestions or actions out there? Thank you.

My 2004 GMC Envoy XUV draws the battery dead overnight with nothing on. The draw is about 3000 amps. Any ideas?

On my way home the other night I stopped by my Mother's house automatic lights working, was in there about 30 45 minutes came out started vehicle, no lights at all. I have always had automatic running lights on at all times daylight or dark. Now the only way I can get headlights is if I pull back on the turn signal arm and hold it there while I drive.

My low beams on my 2003 GMC Envoy are no longer working.

Can I check the error code on a 2004 GMC Envoy without the reader? If so how?

My wife 2004 GMC Envoy's check engine light came on. I do not know what for. There are no obvious problems or noises. Can I read the code some how without a pricy reader. If so, how? Also is there a way to clear the code without having to disconnect the battery?

My 02 GMC Envoy A/C blows on the left side and stays hot on the right. How can I fix this?

The air comes out of the top defrost vents, the side window vents, the floor vents, the back vents; The only ones it will not come out of is the front 4 dashboard vents, what should I look for or check?

When we start vehicle the Air conditioning works. The A/C blows to the backseat and in front of car to the defroster and floor board. It will not blow air to driver or passenger. What could be the problem? Does the electronic selector cause this problem and can a novice fix problem?

i have a envoy SLT 2003 auto trans. recently i faced problem. some times the RPM jump up from 700 (normal) to 900 and then after afew miles driving comes down to 700 then again afew miles driving goes up.i feel the clutch and brake are getting damaged because of high pressore while car is stoped. if you have any experienc or advice please tell me. thanks

I am also having problem with the air directional switch,the instrument panel has basically pegged the voltege meter, the radio has volume for the CD player and not the radio?? can you suggest what I can do to fix this??

While driving, the vehicle suddenly lurched forward and the drive-train started making an unusual noise. The drive mode indicator lights changed between modes (2Hi-A4WD-4Hi-4Lo) with no change of the selector switch and the noise continued. I drove 1/4 mile to home and with a further check can see the driveshaft turns (while in 2WD reverse) but the wheels do not turn.

My 2003 GMC Envoy XL low beam headlight on driver's side will not work. I replaced the bulb and it worked for a month.

We changed harmonic balancer, thermostat, checked motor mounts cannot find problem. The vibration can also be felt in the steering wheel. 3 mechanics including the dealer cannot find problem.

The engine only had 28,000 miles when it was replaced. It is the 5.3L v-8.
Was there a recall or a common reason for the replacement or random case?

Thanks for your reply. They also replaced the ignition switch, fan clutch, fuel tank sender and shift linkage all before 30,000 miles but at different times. That is a lot for a new vehicle, should i expect to have other problems that you may be aware of? Thanks again for your previous answer.

I went to a service center and they told me it was time to change the fuel and air filters. When I asked the price I felt it was excessive and elected to do it myself. I changed the air filter but now can't even find the fuel filter. I am sure I can change it if I can find it.

the mirror folded backwards and the interior spring gave way, so the mirror is no longer supported, it is not broken (smashed) the back appears to be removable, is it possible to access the spring and reattach the mirror?

I jumped the fuse box on a 2003 GMC Envoy. All the power for the accessories is gone.

I went to jump the battery of my 2003 GMC Envoy today and my buddy put the cables on the fuse box black and red bolts instead. it drained all of the power for the accessories. I read your reply to someone else with the same problem but no one around here knows what or where to buy a fusible link. All of the power for the radio, windows, locks, etc. will not work at all and all of the fuses seem to by fine both under the hood and in the back of the vehicle. thank you in advance for your help.

Removed the lower radiator hose and the radiator cap, but only about 6 qts. of the coolant drains. My GMC Envoy manual says to remove the heater hose, but it is not accessible without removing more parts that I want to try to remove. My Haynes manual says to remove the "coolant air bleed hose from the throttle body". I can't find any such hose on my Envoy. Any suggestions?

How do I find out if my warranty has expired? Just bought a 2006GMC Envoy.

Misfiring #5 cylinder or not firing right, have replaced cap, plugs, wire, rotar, new upper intake. When starting starts like it is missing. Timing set top dead center to #1. Any ideas as to why still misfiring or firing bad?

After $600 of work for inspection sticker, my 98 GMC Envoy back in shop. It says "stuck between 2 wheel + 4 wheel drive." What's next?

When my car is idling like at a stop light it will hesitate like it's getting ready to stall out and the lights and gauges on the dash go crazy when I press the gas it goes back to normal but still rides very rough when idling. The code came back the engine is not operating at the right temp....I can not afford a huge bill for someone to search for the problem.

My air has also been blowing warm air on the drivers side but not passengers side if we charge with freon its fine for a while and when I put it in the shop they said there was a leak but could never find it.

Just bought an 08 GMC Envoy. I had the reclining power seat down and it won't come back up. Sounds like the motor gave up.

I have just purchased a 2004 GMC Envoy XUV and I really do need to be able to seat more than 5 people in the truck. I purchased the truck do to its ability of converting into a SUV and Pick Up. It is really handy! I was told by a friend that the extra seats can be added!

My headlamps on my 2006 GMC Envoy XL will not work, but the high beams work fine.

When I'm stopped for a light for 10 or more seconds, I feel a thud-like jolt coming from under the vehicle. Appears to be coming from somewhere below the driver's seat area. Took it to the dealer. They said they've had others complain about the same problem but don't know what's causing it. Has anyone figured this out?

I left the gas cap very loose while in a hurry. I did this once before and the check engine light came on. It seem that once I fixed the cap it went right off. Do I need to reset it?
