I have a 2002 GMC Yukon Denali. The middle row 60/40 Bench won't fold. Nothing appears to be lodged.

I am unable to fold down the middle bench seats (60/40) in my 2002 GMC yukon Denali. There does not appear to anything stuck or lodged preventing the seats from folding. Has anyone seen this before?

2005 GMC Denali XL has a high pitch whinning sound between 45 -55 mph. Any idea what it might be from?

I have a 2002 GMC Denali that had a dead battery , so I jump started it from another car with the cables hooked up backwards by mistake, now the car will start but won't run , it just dies . What's odd is now my remote key button is backwards. The unlock locks the door and the lock button does nothing at all. I also noticed a different kind of bell when you turn the key on now . In February 2008 my battery died due to my alternator shorting out. I replaced the battery and the GM dealership installed a new alternator under warranty. Just this month I was driving home when my battery light turned on and the display read "battery not charging" would come on. I took my vehicle to the nearest GM dealership and they replaced the alternator with a new one under warranty due to it shorting out again. I haven't jump started any vehicles. Why is my alternator shorting out within 8 months? What causes an alternator to short out? Has anyone else had this problem with the GMC Yukon Denali?

I have an 08 Deanli and the wirless head phones are dead...I would think it would be easy to replace the batteries, but can not figure it out...there are a couple of screws, but I can;t believe I need to take them apart to replace batteries...please advise.

My 2002 GMC Denali has a noise in the front end on the right side. It sounds like a dragging noise when turning left.

Not sure WHY this is happening. While riding on straight road, if steering wheel is released, Denali pulls to right...not quick, hard right pull, rather gentle veer to right within 0.1 miles. Brake pads replaced on 4-wheels and had all-wheel drive aligned. Not sure what else to check for problem.

My 3rd brake light (CHMSL) on 01 GMC Yukon Denali is out. Where to find replacement?

Have an 03 Denali currently has 134,000 miles. When the noise was discovered I still had factory warranty at the time. The truck has been to the dealer 3 times and they are unable to determine where the noise and cause is from. When I make small left and right turns there sounds like a grinding noise but the noise seems to be all coming from the left front tire area. Please help... the noise is more constant now then before. Dealer believes it's safe. How when they don't know the cause. Thanks

I took my truck into the dealer and asked them once again to find out what the popping noise was that they could not figure out the last 3 times. Since we are going on a road trip this summer want to make sure everything is safe. Well they diagnosed the problem as you said was wrong. I did not inform them of your answer. I drove it to work today for the first time after the repair and there was still a slight popping noise is this something I should bring back up to the dealer that it's still not fixed or could it be another issue? After driving truck approximately 30 miles, when it's hot, it will shake, I stop and let it cool for about 30 - 60 minutes. Once it cools off I can drive again for miles with no problem, then after 400 miles, this repeats again. Mechanic is baffled. More recently, this problem occurs more frequently - when hot it shakes and have to stop and let car cool off. Any ideas on what could be happening or how to fix the truck?

I have a 2002 Yukon Denali with 155K miles on it the truck never gave me any problems until about 125K miles the front end sounds/feels like it's stuck in 4 wheel drive when I turn the wheel hard in either direction. I've changed the CV joints,diff., fluid and transfer case fluid and no change. The problem is getting worse and only happens when the car is driven for 40 or so miles. Can anyone help, Thanks.

03 GMC Yukon Denail Front End Popping noise

Sent a question yesterday about a front end noise sounding like grinding, but listened more carefully last night on the way home from work it is a popping noise. Only makes this noise and short left and right turns (Ex. pulling in a parking space, turning in a parking garage) Sound is only coming from the left front tire area. Almost always makes the noise when making sharp right turns and the car is slightly leaning more. Please advise truck has been in the dealers 3 times no cure. Thanks

Those darn things are expensive! $115 for the part, then paint, and I keep loosing them. When it first happened, I thought someone had stolen it. The next time I'm sure it was there when I stopped for gas, but it was gone 150 miles later when I stopped at my destination. We live in Colorado and are often driving on mountain passes with snow and ice. When the vehicle begins to slip the brakes are applied automatically by the traction control and / or vehicle stabilization feature and the car ultimately comes to a stop. The more the accelerator is applied the more the brakes are applied and the engine's RPM actually reduce. Even at very low speeds such as in our steep driveway this happens. This feature may be fine for people who don't know how to drive on slick highways but it has left us stranded in our own driveway and on Vail pass several times.
A very dangerous predicament in a snowstorm.

I have a 2000 Yukon Denali the one with the 5.7L V8 engine. And i wanted to Replace it original headlights for the HID's i don't know if i have to change the whole thing or can i just buy one of those kits they sell on eBay with bulbs and the ballast. also the fog light are projectors but i don't think there HID and for those do i just need to buy the ballast and the xenon bulbs? at this moment i have PIAA X-treme White bulbs on the low beams but thats the only modification.

Hey all, (HELP)

This is my Dad's vehicle and he has had it for about 3 years. It has had electrical problems with it ever since he got it. The factory alarm goes off when you lock the door or even use the remote. Sometimes it will go off by itself out of nowhere (is there a way to bypass this alarm?) Another problem that it also has is the headlights work when they want to. They have left him stranded at night before and I do not like that at all. And just recently the thing will only start when it wants and acts like it misses sometimes (it has a complete tune-up all around and I have done tests and everything on sensors). The security light flashes alot and i dont know if that has something to do with the alarm system or not. Overall it is a very nice vehicle and i am always working on it. Please help. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Pete

I have a 2003 Yukon Denali and the rear hatch will not unlock or open. When I hit the remote (unlock), I can hear a soft sound in the hatch, but it will not open. I do not know how to test if it is one of the relay switches. Also, I do not see how I can get into the hatch to see what is going on. Any help will be appreciated. This is an urgent request, because I need my truck to transport my son's wheelchair.

Also, need to get new spare tire and wheel. Is spare the same size as other tires or smaller? Thanks so much for any assistance!
