Headlights won't work

The headlights on my 2001 Hyundai Elantra don't work. I had new low beam bulbs installed, but they don't work either. My boyfriend checked all the fuses and breakers. What could be wrong?

Hyundai Elantra blower only works on level 4, not 1-3. I bought a resistor that should fix this, but I can't find where to install it. Anyone know where it goes?

i need to buy new tires for my 2004 elantra gt. i have "h" on there right now but i was looking into "s" or "t". any advice? i do mostly nyc driving with the occasional trip to the country. the tires are balding at 45,000. help!!!

I was trying to take of the spark plug cover to get to my spark plugs and I striped the threads to a couple of the bolts and I can't get them out I turn them any way and they don't get loose or tight, there just stuck there.

I bought my 2008 Hyundai Elantra SE at the end of June and although I've been taking immaculate care of it (more so than any other care I've owned), I was shocked to discover it has, somehow become scratched on the interior passenger side panel. While doing comp. test on my 96 elantra 1.8l dohc today an adapter came off the hose for the tester. I was unaware of this & replaced the spark plug. It broke. I retrieved the piece of broken plug but while trying to get the adapter out I screwed the hose back into it. Now It has started swiveling & I can't get it out at all. Do you have any ideas how I can get it out with out removing the head?

Recently I started getting an error code - Er8 - when I try to switch to use my tape player. This wouldn't normally be an issue but I use a tape adapter to listen to my iPod. A few days ago a girl at my office backed up into my car. Could that bump knock the tape deck into a security mode?

I am really looking at buying a 2008 Hyundai Elantra, one reason being the great warranty, but recently I was told that if you do bring the car in for any repairs or maintenance under warranty that they will charge hundreds of dollars in "diagnostic checks". I am with the elantra with trans probs. I completely forgot to mention that the check eng. light came on for 1-2 mnts when the trans started to slip, then it went out not to come again. shouldnt it be comming on, or staying on?

I got a Elantra 02 2.0L GLS.

Some times they work, sometimes they don't I'm not sure what the problem is. So I took out the dash and the gauge cluster and checked the back and everything seems fine. I even cleaned the connection board with electrical cleaner and it still doesn't work. I'm wondering if I should put grease on the connections, if that a bad Idea please let me know??? thanks

when I first got the car I put a ram on and right when I taped on the accel cable connected to the throttle body it gave more then perfect timing, now it's takes about 1.5 sec to respond after hearing the suction the cold filter makes

I am getting engine light frequently in my 2001 Hyundai Elantra. I can feel a slight jerk before the light comes on and it goes away as soon as I retighten the gas tank cap. Car runs smooth later on. Can someone tell me what is going on and if this requires more than what I am doing at this moment.

On my Hyundai Elantra 2001, 52000 miles, I occasionally get engine light. The codes are P0715 "Input Turbine Speed Sensor/Circuit Malfunction" and 1529 "Vehicle speed Idle Control Auxiliary Input".
I have changed fuel tank cap, spark plugs and wires on recommendation.
I have not faced problem so far but it's only 2 days back I replaced above items.
My question:
1. Will these help in solving the engine light problem.
2. Are these problem codes covered in Power train Warranty
3. Has any one have any suggestions to get rid of the problems.

I have a 2000 Hyundai Elantra with 134,000 miles. My problem is I have trouble trouble pumping gas into it. It keeps stopping like the tank is full even when the gas tank is low. I can only pump about $5.00 worth of gas and keeps rejecting the gasoline.

I was trying to put a colored bulb in the trunk on my 02 ELantra and I touched the screw driver to the metal that was lighting it, and it blew and now my radio and clock don't work, I know that they use the same fuse, so I checked the fuse with an led theres still power. I even bought a new bulb, but I still get nothing when I turn the car on, no display no nothin.

I have two cigarette lighters in my Elantra and I have only used one to charge my cell phone. But now, after 2 years, neither of the cigarette lighters work so I am guessing (hoping) it is the fuse. I found one fuse box under the hood but it wasn't the one that had the cigarette lighter fuse. I am supposed to have spare fuses. I just don't know where the fuse box is. A guy in Auto Zone said it is probably below my steering wheel but he didn't come out and look. If it is, how do you remove the dash or panel to get to the fuse box? The car manual showed diagrams on both fuse boxes so once I find it I could identify which fuse to replace. I am wondering why the manual did not explain where the fuse boxes are. ok what i was doing was pulling the cd player out to fix it. did not disconnect the negative battery cable like i should have. when everything was put back together, radio would not turn on or lights or keyless entry. checked all fuses, tested good. the fuse number 25; 15 amp that controls these functions was not receiving power at all. fuse is good but no power is getting to fuse. what i did temporarily so these functions will work is i linked this fuse with a nearby 15 amp fuse that is only active when car is on. this allows radio to work and lights and keyless entry but only when the car is on. what will cause the power to not get to the fuse? if you could help me i would really appreciate it.

I checked the fuse under the dash and checked the fuses under the hood, changed the flasher, checked all the bulbs, there is a relay by the flasher I changed it and it brings the lights on and they stay on, but they won't flash.

so even though i have changed all belts including a/c drive belt, that might be my problem for the whineing noise when i use the a/c. the a/c really cools the car, i have checked the tension on the belt, feels really tight. i will try to tighten the belt a little more and see what happens. thanks for your input.

The transmission shifts fine and the fluid does not look or smell burned. I rebuilt the CVS and both hub knuckles. Wheel bearings run smooth. The noise from the transaxle increases in pitch and volume with speed.

A credit card fell into the cup holder. It's a sealed rectangular
box in the console. I already removed it once, and saw that there

1998 Hyundai Elantra error codes.

After having to get my car jump started due to our -0 weather, my check engine light came on. I took my car down to Auto Zone and they pulled up three error codes:
P1124- Long term fuel trim error-System Lean
P1613- MIL request signal circuit high input
P1128- Long term fuel trim error- system lean
I have no idea what any of these mean nor do I have any money to get anything fixed. Any suggestions or knowlege about these things would be very helpful!

It appears that the AM reception on the Elantra SE radio is muffled. Dealer has changed radio. same problem

Can the clutch in the 2001 Hundai Elantra be adjusted or is it self adjusting?

I need to have my clutch repaired and don't want to get riped off. If the repair shop tells me I need a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing I won't know to ask for the clutch to be adjusted prior to replacing the assembly. Does anyone know if there any other maintenance function's that should be performed in addition to the clutch adjustment?

I took the battery in my 2001 Hyundai Elantra out. When I placed it back in, the alarm went off and it doesn't turn on.
