How to turn off the maintenance minder?

Lexus IS 250, about 4500 miles, get the Oil Maintenance Required Soon message. I turned off maintenance settings in the dash. Going for maintenance soon; how does this message get turned off? I turned off the maintenance minder in the nav so I'm not sure why it is still showing up.

Is it required that all four tires of my 2006 Lexus IS 250 AWD be changed if I have a bubble in the right front tire?

I have trusted my local neighborhood mechanic when he recently insisted that all 4 tires of my 2006 Lexus i250 AWD which had 15,000 miles on it when I took it in because I noticed a bubble in the right front tire. The neighborhood mechanic said that although the other 3 tires were in good shape it was impossible to rebalance the tires if he only changed one. My tire light was not activated as it has been in the past when I had a slow leak from a nail puncture. I paid the $650 to replace all the tires but now I am wondering if I have been just a gullible old lady. I wou;d appreciate any feedback.

Lexus 2006 IS 250, built in nav and Bluetooth. After I command a phone number and voicemail answers, if I have to enter an extension there is no way to do it via Bluetooth. I have to manually enter the extension on the phone keypad by holding the phone in my hand. Anyone know any other way? Can't use smartphone because you'd have to take eyes off the road to put in extension. Thanks for any advice.

Is noise from the AC (Circulation Mode) of the Lexus IS 250 inherent to this vehicle?

When the air conditioner is in the circulation mode, it sounds like a propeller, or similar to when driving with only one window cracked. I was given a loaner for a day (no problem with that one), and I sat in a different one with the service technician and that vehicle did not reproduce the sound. I am being told this noise is inherent in these vehicles, but I tend to disagree since the sound could not be reproduced in other vehicles of the same make and model. Just curious if anyone else is having or has had this problem and what was done to correct it.

2009 Toyota Camry XLE V6 or 2008 Lexus IS250?

Which is better-Lexus '08 IS250 Lease-24 Mo for $450/mo w/ $1500 down and 15k miles or 09 Camry XLE V6 for 30,559.Both w/Nav.

Toyota has 0%APR right now so I can own the car in 2 years. I really wanted luxury but I didn't feel I was getting any good deals on a lease. The 250 only has 208 HP whereas the Camry has 268 but I don't know if that's THAT big of a deal. I test drove both and since both have basically the same engine, wasn't a huge difference. The Lexus dealership keeps touting the "Lexus experience" but is that just marketing crap? I keep going back and forth about this and driving myself (and my family) crazy! Help!

Any advice on what to expect from a dealer regarding leather warranty? Lexus IS 250.

I recently purchased a brand new 2009 Lexus IS 250 AWD and already have dye transfer from my wool coat. When I bought the car a few weeks ago, I purchased the interior exterior/protection package and I was told that the white leather would not stain and be easy to clean. Boy do I feel like a fool. The GM at the dealership had his leather guy redye my seat and assured me that it would be good as new. It's not! I am extremely frustrated and don't know what to do. The GM initially told me that if their touch up wasn't to my satisfaction that he would replace the entire seat. The car doesn't even have 1500 miles on it yet and I think this white leather is going to be a constant problem. Should I have him replace the seat or should I try and have him switch the car for another one with black interior? Any advice would be appreciated?

Hi!

I am new to this site and so glad you are here to help! I LOVE cars, but I absolutely hate making the purchase. I am ready to buy a Lexus IS 250X with the premium package. The MSRP for the IS 250X is $34,785 and the premium package is $840. Tacking on delivery, processing and handling it totals $36,450.

It seems I can readily get information on the average sale cost of other makes and models and there are lots of deals in the paper, online, etc., but it's been a challenge to find out what I can expect to pay for the Lexus. Can you help guide me? I haven't decided if it is better to lease or buy, but if you can tell me what I should try to get the price to for a purchase, I think I can do the math.

Thanks so much for any help you can offer!
~Karen

Since they already have a 2009 IS, is it possible to get a 2008 Lexus IS 250 for closer to $30K? If not, what would be another option with my budget?

Why doesn't Edmunds list the 5.9L Cummins diesel for the Dodge D250 truck in its Cash for Clunkers specifications?

I am trying to trade in my 1989 Dodge D250 on the CARS program. No one can find the EPA MPG for the Dodge D250 5.9L Cummins diesel. Even here at Edmunds, the 1990 Dodge D250 doesn't have the 5.9L Cummins Diesel listed as an option under specifications. Why? Thank you.

I am in the market for a 2008 Lexus IS 250 fully loaded with between 12K-15K miles. It is a one owner vehicle in good condition. What is the most I should pay before they tack on TTL? What offer should I give them to walk out the door with?
