I am doing some repair on a 1999 chrydler concorde, the owner called saying the car ran hot and the temperature gauge was on "H". She said she drove it home anyway. I saw that the radiator was busted and I replaced that. I also replaced the thermostat and battery. Now the car is not getting any heat and the gear shift is stuck in low and the key is locked in the ignition. I am trying to locate the gear shift cables and don't seem to be able to locate them. What do you suggest? What have I not done that could be done?

This car is in very good condition, never fail for almost 300.000 ml. Week ago I was shopping and when I was back in car - battery was so low that I have to use jump start cable from friendly shopper. Car started fine but I hardly get home (3 miles)- everything in car went our: all lights was blinking or ON,the only first gear was ON and did nit shift, headlights was semi-off and it was spooky. I drove thru red lights (12 midnight, nobody was on intersection)and if I will take my foot off the accelerator - I will stop. Took battery to shop and they exanged for the new one and car started but light "Battery" is ON after 10 min driving. Battery is new, alternator is working fine. What can be a problem? Thank you anyone who will take a time and answer my question.

While the T&C is driving down the road it will blow warm air, but as soon as you come to a stop, it still blows air but is cold. It will also blow warm air while in park but with the RPM's revved up. What is the fix and is it easily accomplished by and intermediate wrench spinner? Thanks

1997 Chryselr Concorde. Bad bushings on right front. Could they flatten tires? Have had two within 2 weeks.

Car in pristeen condition, only 87K mi. Good tires. Purchsed 6 mo ago and have always heard a mild to medium "clunking" sound in right wheel well upon a right turn and sometimes at exceleration from a stand still. A slight shimmy in steering wheel about 3 weeks ago. Found first flat overnight. Was told a 'gash' on side wall. Was told need bushings but it wasn't related to the flat or a safety issue. Replaced tire and used car three days while parts ordered. Another flat found this morning, same wheel. Have heard of similar "clunkings" on 2004 chryslers.

When I first get in car the brakes do not work right. They feel like brakes feel when you first put new ones on a car after compressing the calipers and putting the stop squeal stuff on the pads. Sometimes you have to stand on the breaks and the car barely stops. After you get them warmed up they work OK but it sometimes does it while driving. The car is under warranty and has been taken to the dealer numerous times. The dealer says that there is nothing wrong with the car. Does anyone have an idea what causes this to happen.

On the same 06 Sebring that I asked about the brakes, one of the front tires keeps going flat. The same dealer says that there is nothing wrong with the tire or the rim. It will be fine when we go to bed at night and flat the next morning. I do not think that it is someone leting the air out of the tire. It does this in all types of weather (Winter, Spring, Summer, and fall). Any ideas as to why this would keep happening if there is nothing wrong with it?

I purchased my '04 Chrysler Pacifica in October. I've had the oil changed every 3 months. For some reason, the car starts sounding rough at the 3 month mark. When I check the dipstick, there is not a drop of oil on it! There are no puddles on my garage floor, no smoke coming from the exhaust, and the mechanic sees no visible residue underneath the engine. Where is the oil going to?? Is this normal??

The Emergency brake did not pass safety inspection. I replaced the shoes, (the car is 4 wheel Disc with the minature pads just for the emergency brake)and adjusted the thumbwheel until the pads were just contacting the drums but it will still move at just above idle speed on level ground.

I took the console out to check for the adjuster screw, (according to the Chilton Manual), where the cable attaches to the lever but it does not exist.

There appears to be sort of clock spring that seems to be designed to maintain tension but the one end does not rest against anything it is free moving.

04 Chrysler Pacifica AWD seems to sway-like front wheels shift. The steering wheel looses touch with tires. Hard to explain, only when driving straight and on exceleration.Makes no noise you just feel like the body of the car drops to the left. The only other problem is a hollow thud or clunk when going over speedbumps or rough roads-at low speeds.Almost like bottoming out-that to is the left front wheel. Many thanks in advance for any input!!

I have a 1997 sebring convertible. I just had the water pump, thermostat and timing belt replaced. Also had radiator flushed. Now when I back the car up and turn the steering wheel to go forward it sticks for a few moment. It doesn't want to turn at first. Once I drive it is totally fine. Corners and all. Except if I have to back up then turn to go forward. I know sebring's are not fun to work on and the mechanic had a ball I think. I was curious if all these were close together and maybe somehow with all the work, it messed with the steering. Thanks to whoever can help me with this.........
Karen

Chrysler leasing calculations

Has anyone ever heard of calculating a lease payment like this:
The consumer would finance 50% of the car's value (regardless of stated residual values) for 3 years. If the car is worth more than 50% of it's original value at the end of the lease, the consumer would be refunded the difference. If it is worth less, the financing company "eats the difference". This is totally different than what I am used to ( I am a college instructor and this is a topic in my class) I was told by a student today (he is a Chrysler salesman) that this is the way they calculate leases. Any thoughts/opinions out there?

How can I stop the TPMS display from appearing in my 2008 Chrysler Sebring message panel?

The display began when I had a low tire. I found that the low tire had a nail in it, and replaced the tire. The tire is properly inflated, showing 35 psi (as well as all other tires) in a cold state, but I continue to get the warning on my message display panel. The Chrysler dealer said that whoever replaced the tire damaged the sensor: yet I'm getting an updated reading as the TPMS shows increased PSI as the tire warms.

This has only happened a few times, but when slowing down and braking the engine races in an uncontrolled manner which can be dangerous. Has anyone else experienced this with the 2006TC?

Does a Chrysler dealer get manufacturer money when they sell under the Employee Purchase plan offered? I work at a dealer.

I work at a dealer and am only being paid a mini when I sell a car under this plan. The management says they get the difference between invoice and Employee Purchase price. GM usually pays the dealer a percentage of msrp to pay sales and for prep costs.
