Dodge caravan will not fire. Yesterday it started, then this morning would not fire. What could this be?

My van would not start. My husband was working on it. He noticed the fuel pump humming when it was turned on, then it fired. Well this morning you could not hear the fuel pump come on and it would not fire. Is this a fuel pump going bad or could it be something else?

2001 Dakota sludge in engine, clogged the oil pickup and spun a couple of rod bearings, replaced the long block, runs good but now the headlights are inop, so are the park lites and dome lite, no buzzer with the ignition key turned on, where is the fuse or relay, I have checked both fuse blocks and all the fuses are ok, thanks

I have a 2001 4.7L V8 last three weeks trans slips, idles high, engine light comes on and off can't read code yet. noticed now when accelerating
trans won't engauge right away, coming to a stop engine shuts off stall.
Changed filters and fluid worked for a while. Driving short distance seems fine, long distance trans slips again. Sometimes when turning vehicle off and letting it sit for a few minutes seems ok for awhile. Before I spend a lot of money on a trans any suggestions.

I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota 3.9L. I am going to replacing the pinion bearings,races and seal. Along with this I'm going to replace the rear axle bearings and seal. However there are two different size gears. I want to be sure I'm ordering the correct parts prior to starting the job. That's why I'm asking the question. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

While driving my 2004 dodge sprinter diesel, MB 5 speed auto with overdrive, it seemed like the transmission started and stayed locked in high gear. Absolutely no power. It seemed impossible to down shift. After shutting the vehicle down for an hour or two and restarting everything seemed normal.

the code from diagnostics is PO138. which according to the book is Circuit Hi-Volt, Sensor 2, Bank 1. From my understanding there are 4 sensors, I just want to make sure of what it does and where it is located before I have it replaced. I like to get some knowledge in before I take it to anyone. Not knowing a little has a way of being taken advantange of when the bill comes in.(sometimes anyway).

I heard a whining noise from my Caravan when turning; took it into the dealer from where I bought it used (18,000 miles) and they told me the seal is broken and that the repair will cost over $900.00. Seems through no fault of my own I need to pay a large sum of money on what may well be a defective part.

We had the car plugged in(block heater.But she still would not start.battery is good and oil has since been changed and new spark plugs.still won't start.tried to boost it.she is trying to catch, but not grabbing on.wondering if there is a shut off switch for the fuel that might need to be reset or something?I also left the battery charger on her all night,would that have caused a problem?

I had my transmission rebuilt and I noticed that when I let off the gas, I can watch the tach drop. When I apply the gas, it jerks as it grabs back into lockup. Maybe dropping out of lockup is normal, and I just noticed it after the transmission was beefed up. The transmission shop says the new springs in the transmission are stronger and that's the reason. Is it supposed to drop out of lockup at highways speeds when you just let off the gas? Thanks.

I have a 2004 Dodge Sprinter with a 2.7L Mercedes turbocharged CDI diesel engine with a 5 speed MB automatic transmission. From time to time it seems like the transmission locks in high gear, as there is absolutely no power with the vehicle slowing to a crawl. If the unit is shut off for a few minutes and restarted everything seems normal. I'm not positive this is a transmission or an engine problem. Can anyone offer suggestions?

2007 Dodge Dakota I bought it new and since day one it periodically get stuck in first gear about 5000 rpms at 40 mph. This is an automatic and the only way I can get it to shift is to pull over and shut truck off and then restart. This will take care of this problem most of the time. Why or what would be causing this? I have had it back to the dealer and the only way I could repeat the problem was to keep truck running. They saw it happen once and changed out the computer but I still have the problem. The check engine light never comes on. They don't seem to know what to do.

I vacuumed up more than a gallon of water after the last heavy rain storm. My floor pad is still drenched and freezes when the temp drops below 32.
I'm concerned that I'll start rusting out if I can't seal the leak. Can I somehow pressurize the cab and apply a soap solution and locate the leak where the bubbles appear? I hesitate to start removing trim because re-installation is a pain in ther butt. Should I be able to determine the leak location, will a silicon seal be sufficient to stop the water infusion?

The truck is a 2002 Dodge Dakota sxt rear wheel drive. The front brakes only lock up once and while, but only one side or the other. This mainly happens after hard extreme braking. This stopped after sitting overnight. Now the front wheel bearings have been replaced 1 year ago.
