My Mercedes 500 motor does not engage when the gas pedal is pressed. Will catch after a while.

Just had a tune-up, new fuel injector sensor. Gas pedal goes down, but engine does not rev.

Where can I find a manual indicating how I can change the convertible top on my 90 Mercedes 500SL?

I love this car dearly (It's my automotive soulmate!) and would like to change the top myself (with my sons' help.) I can't seem to find a manual, instruction set, drawing, or any sort of guidance for how to go about this. Everyone with whom I've corresponded has told me that: 1) It's a bear; 2) It requires only normal mechanics' tools; and 3) that the manual says it should be a 12 hour repair. All this aside, I'd like some means of making an informed decision as to just how foolish I would be to attempt this without professional help. I'm happy to pay for instructions, a manual, a drawing, anything which will help me understand what I'm in for. Can anyone out there help me???

i am in the middle of a purchase of a certified pre owned benz im finding discrepencies in the papers.mbusa refuses help,cant find any info myself,i am frustrated and tired.i am buying from a large powerful dealer.like the car cant deal with the undiclosing of information. please help? i have vin
