i wanna know if my catalytic converter is making my car faster or slower? Its a straight pipe.

i have a 97 eagle talon esi non turbo. i just put in my ceramic headers in and a straight pipe catalytic converter but after i put the catalytic converter on my exhaust got softer and it feels like my car is slower. so i wanna know if the new catalytic converter is making my car faster or slower?

do I need a special tool to work on rear brakes on 93 eagle talon tsi awd coup hatchback

I heard you need a special tool to compress the cylinder to get the pads in.

Will any other transmission fit on a 1990 Eagle Talon other than a Talon? (like a Plymouth or Eclipse?)

i have a 1990 eagle talon and the transmission is out. i am having a hard time finding a talon tranny. i was wondering if a 1990 eclipse or lazer would fit with no problems.

Why would white smoke come out of a muffler? Eagle Talon.

The car is a 96 talon and the oil was just recently change and now there is white smoke coming out of the muffler.

I bought this 95 Eagle Summit, but didn't come with a hand book, and it has a thing on the back window for washer fluid, but can't find any place to add it. Thought maybe it just came from the front to the back, if so it doesn't work. Thought maybe I was over looking where to add the fluid to. Thanks

1994 Eagle Talon DS 2.0L non turbo....car will not fire with ignition, will turn over but will not start. Push start and pop clutch fires everytime no hesitation. It does not miss going down the road; will not idle either???? Do you think it's a timing problem? Thanks in advance.

The check engine light does not come on and wont send any codes when a diagnostic thing is hooked up to it. When it dies i just push the clutch in and restart it while moving. My local mechanic has no idea whats wrong with it, any ideas?

Need to find a mechanic for my 95 Eagle Talon in/near San Antonio, TX.

It seems I have to replace the engine to my 95 Eagle Talon because the Pistons are shot. Does anyone know a good mechanic that can do the job in/near San Antonio, TX? And how much they would charge?

How do I know if my car is a 4 wheel drive or front wheel drive? 1995 Eagle Summit.

my 1997 eagle talon the will not start. the fuel pressure is good, the cam sensor and the crank sensor are good. I can get fuel injectors 1 and 2 to fire, 3 and 4 will spert momentarily and stop. all plugs are firing. what could it be the PCM. I need a electrical diagram (schematics) of the fuel system. can anyone help.

I have a 93 Eagle Talon TSi manual awd transmission. Will it work with a six bolt JDM engine I have ordered?

My transmission is off of a seven bolt engine. I have heard others say that there is some type of adapter needed, or a spaceer of some kind required, for a six bolt hook up.

I have a 1995 non turbo Eagle Talon that runs a little above 1/2 on the thermostat and runs rough.

The car has a new timing belt, water pump and radiator. Also the cam shaf sensor is reading a litte low. Any suggestions what could be wrong with my car or what I can check next to get it running right?

Would like to switch brand new battery from recently junked 93 Eagle Vision into 97 Ford Taurus wagon. Realize that positive/negative posts are now in different location but reachable by cables. Are battery spec's for both these vehicles the same? Will I damage starter / alternator if I switch out??

i have a 1998 talon thats a non turbo 2.0 ltr. 5 spd , very slow on take off , but runs pretty smooth. i cleaned out the converter, air filter, fuel filter, it seem like something is clogged some where, any answers let me know thanks Skip.

I got new halogen headlights but I can't get the old ones off... I know you have to take the bumper off to get to the last nut on the headlight assembly, but I can't seem to get the bumper off either... (wish there was a video on youtube or somewhere on how to do this :P)

I have a 1995 Eagle Vision/Dodge Intrepid, same car basically, and I was changing the thermostat. What I have done is broken off a 1/4" portion of the bolt hole on the lower part of the thermostat housing, which is attached to the car engine. I tried using JB Weld to "weld" it back in place, and it did stay, but since the thermostat I purchased had the screwy rubber gasket around it instead of the old fashioned paper kind, I could not get it to seal correctly, and I pinched it while tightening it down. It leaked like crazy and I was going to redo it, but when I took it apart, the little piece that I JB welded on came off. I have since left it alone, not wanting to mess with it again at this moment, and thought that I would post my question on here to see if anyone had any suggestions. I was told that I would pretty much have to replace the upper half of the engine just to replace that housing, and I really cannot afford to do that. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time and attention to my question.
