Hole in 2008 Hummer H3 Muffler. Is this a drain hole?

Have Hummer H3, 2006 with 5 cylinder engine. Can I tow a 5,000 lb travel trailer with it okay? Have factory hitch on it.

My 2006 has the 5 cylinder engine. Wanting to buy and tow a 25 ft travel trailer with it. I have a factory installed heavy duty hitch on it. Do you think this H3 will pull it around okay? Vehicle now has only 12k miles on it since new.

2003 Hummer H2. On shifter is a thumb know that you press to get the shifter in and out or Park. What is part name for this knob?

i have a 2003 hummer H2. on the shifter knob is the THUMB KNOB, that u have to press to get the shifter in and out of PARK. the knob has broke-off tab that locks it in the shifter handle, and i have to jiggle it to turn the KEY OFF. what is the correct part name for this little knob?

My Hummer caught fire from a vehicle parked next to me that failed to respond to his recall. both cars had extensive damage. My insurance co. wants to repair my leased '07 Hummer (over $13,000 damages) but I do not want to drive a car that has fire damage for safety reasons and the leather interior has toxic fumes. Please hlep. Thanks!

I've wanted the Hummer H3 for about 2 years now, and now that it's time for me to get a new car I can't decide. I went to the Lexus dealership to check out their Hybrid SUV and also test drove the IS350 and it was a great car; sporty but not too stiff, great looks, good cabin tech, great gas mileage. But I am 20 years old and currently drive a 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe, I am kind of over the whole sports car/driving fast phase of my life. The Hummer is a great car but the gas econ is just so horrible and with gas prices going up I don't know if i want to buy a car that will use this much gas. So please give me some advice and help me decide!

High beams not working on HUMMER H3.

High beams do not go on.Push lever and regular lights and fogs go out, but high beams dont light up? 2008 HUMMER H3

I changed headlight bulbs. Put in artic white ones. Would this have anything to do with it? Dont see how, since regular beams are working. Also if i changed bulbs would this affect waranty?

I'm seriously considering buying a Hummer H3 Alpha. Is Hummer NOT a wise purchase anymore?

Does the recent news about Hummer make it a bad purchase?

Love the looks and feel of the Hummer. VERY concerned that I won't get an honest answer from sales folks regarding its future. Is Hummer here to stay? Or am I likely to regret purchasing one when they go out of business?

The keys keep getting stuck in the ignition of my 2008 Hummer H3. Has this happened to anyone else?

Approx. every 3 or 4 times I stop the vehicle & try to remove the keys from the ignition they get stuck. I make sure the steering wheel is straight, car in park, etc. Am I doing something wrong & should I have this looked at? wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I mean I have been driving for 25 years so I do know how to take keys out!!

Our 2003 Hummer H2 lately cannot auto-unlock rear passenger doors and hatch, tried everything in book.

I have a Hummer H2 just recently I place the key in and it struggles to fit in. It's getting stuck, hard to take out.

It just started happening recently. It feels like the key is trying to pass through a thick gummy substance because u have to force it in and then u have to pull it out once u stop the ignition. It has always gone in smoothly nothing has been spilled or dropped and I'm worried that by driving it that way I am doing more damage to it taking the key in and out of it so I'm not driving it right now. Did make an appt for the dealer when I come back in town but any advice to what could have caused it ? Please help

I have 2004 H2. It came with the factory trailer hitch and wiring. It all works but trailer marker lights. Help

I installed an electric brake controller which plugs straight into the main fuse panel. I followed the directions from the brake controller manufacturer as well as my H2 factory manual....which by the way, were the same. My trailer brakes work fantastic as do my trailer brake lights and turn signals. But I can't get trailer tail lights or marker lights. If I plug the camper into my other truck, ALL lights work fine, so the problem is with the H2. The marker lights and tail lights work fine on the H2 itself. Is there a fuse somewhere that is specific for the H2 factory trailer wiring? I cannot find one. I unplugged the brake controller, and I still have brake lights and turn signals on the trailer, but no tail or marker lights, so the problem seems to be independent of the brake controller itself.

Hummer has huge rebates and the space I need, but I have about $7000 in negative equity. Odds of getting financed?

I currently drive a 2008 Saab with 14,500 miles on it. When I was on the road a lot, the vehicle was great with its fuel economy. However, I now drive less, tow more, and need room for 3-4 people.

I am a GM employee with loyalty, so I can save $10,224 on an H3 right now. Do you think that a sale like this one could be financed right now? I am a 710 Transunion and will probably put $1,000 to $2,000 down this time. By moving into a larger vehicle I don't forsee needing to trade again because I will already have all the room I'll need for the next 5-6 years.

Plan to finance 72 months.

Structure is as follows:
MSRP: $33,090
Mfr Discounts from MSRP: $5,224
Rebate: $5,000
Selling price: $22,866
Equity: ($7,168) (ACV $13,000 / payoff $20,168)
Taxes: $1,672
Balance Due: $31,706 (which I'll just round to $32,000).

I don't plan to put any money down because I will still be just about 100% advance of invoice and about 97% advance/LTV of MSRP with taxes and all.

Think I have a chance of being financed with OK terms? I am three years out of college, $60,000 per year, and DTI is around 33%.

I was driving down toll road and H3 jerked, locked up and smoked. Pulled over, was towed. Shop tells me that the differential fluid leaked out. The plug (not sure correct term) was loose. 60,000 miles on vehicle. How could this have happened? Anyone else having problems?
