Whistling/howling noise in Infiniti G35 M6 when temperature below 32F

I have a 2005 G35 sedan M6.When the temperature is below freezing the car makes very loud whistling/howling noise.I hear it coming from the ceiling but dealer insisted otherwise. They change my transmision , clutch , drive shaft and differential seal. It took them 3 winters to research the problem and after all that they claim the noise is normal in a car with manual transmision.I think they are full of s.. and just don't wan't to admit the car is a lemon. With infinity service I get to drive another G35 every time they take mine.I drove at least 8 diff. ones no noise.I'm just curious if anybody has that problem. It has to be cold. The lower the temp. the longer the noise lasts.Usualy 1-7 minutesand when the car warms up it goes away.I live in Montreal Canada so cold weather is a factor for me.I can't stand that noise. It's sounds like wind in a chimney.I will try to sue Nissan. Thanks for the answers

Are there any upgrade options, like heavy-duty springs, etc. that can be put on the car to make the ride over bumps not as hard? The Infiniti dealership says that the shocks are fine.

My wife has a 06' G35 sedan that has Michelin tires 215/55 17 on it, but I'd like to improve the look and beef up the size on the pavement. I'm not sure if the 255/55 17 will fit and will they provide good all-weather performance. I know the price can range from $120 - $240, so what's the best bang for the buck?

Is anyone having front end paint failure issues with their Infiniti QX56?

The dealer is claiming that i have "road rash" and is rejecting warranty. i however have been watching this deterioration over a period of months. I have also started to take note of other QX56's when I see them parked. Conservatively, 75% of those I've seen have the same issue to varying degrees. There is no pock marks or marring to the low end chrome grill, lights or other areas of the vehicle. There is zero evidence of damage that doesn't penetrate thru the paint. The attending Dealer was dismissive and cold. I would not recommend purchasing from Infiniti of Bedford in Bedford Ohio. I should note that the selling dealer in Orlando assured me that they would remedy the issue should I desire to drive it back to Florida. Further evidence that the service end of Infiniti of Bedford leaves much to be desired.

What happens to my Infiniti I35 power steering system?

Hi,Today when I turned the wheel, there was a noise. and I smell something like rubber were burnt. I opened the front cover and saw some brown fluid( like oil) leaking from the rubber tube which wraped a metal tube, which is near to the power steering fluid container, and the power steering fluid container was empty, and there is no any clamps around the joint between rubber tube and metal tube. So we bought power steering fluid(stop leakage) and clamps. We put clamps around the joint between metal tube and rubber tube, and add the power steering fluid. and now the noise disappeared. But we found there are plenty of fluid in the rubber tube, which wrapped a mental tube, even though there is no fluid spurt out. I don't know if there is still a leakage. Am I right to add a clamps? because I don't know if the problem is raised by the loss of clamps.
Hope for your reply. Thanks.

About 3 months ago my paint and clear coating started peeling off my roof - no where else. It's as though a branch made of metal shards was scraped across it. The car is never parked under trees and it's washed almost weekly by hand. Infinity customer service says the car is out of warranty so tough luck for me. Is there anything I can do to get them to fix this?

All brake lines are ok and not kinked and all brake lines have been rebled. I still have pulsations. I can feel the brake kicking back like the old anti lock brakes used to feel when you applied the brake? Is there a valve inside the master cylinder that can cause this?
Can anyone tell me anything about this model. It sounds like a pretty good deal. The man is taking my malfunctioning 1999 suburban and 2002 blazer in trade. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Julie

Got an attractive lease offer on an '08 G35x. I then discoverd that the G37x's have hit the dealers this month. Besides the HP and other changes, I haven't read anywhere that the actual physical appearance of the car has changed. Does anyone have this information?

Which one is a better choice - leasing a 2009 Infiniti FX35 or purchasing a 2006 FX45?

i need some advice from people who driven both. should i lease a 2009 fx35 awd fully loaded 36 month lease or should i purchase a 2006 fx45 fully loaded awd ? which one would be wiser and most fun performance wise ?

i get bored with cars really fast so i wouldn't be keeping neither one for more then 3 years .
i would like to lean towards the 06 fx45 because it would probably be more faster and payment would be lower than lease.

fx35 would be newer body style and brand new but less powerful and payment would be way higher ...

I'm leaning towards the lease.. please advise me thanks guys

Should I buy or lease an Infiniti G35 or G37?

I've been looking at getting a new car for the past month or so. I test drove the 2009 G37X Sedan and loved it. I have thought about leasing it and from what I gather if I pay the NYS Tax and other fees (roughly $2500) the lease payment would come out to be roughly $525 (MSRP would be around $34K) or so a month for 39 months. Now that seems like a lot given that I would have to give up the car at the end of the 39 months and have no equity.

I've had suggestions from people that I should think about buying a used one (G35X - 2007 or 2008) and I've been looking around on the Infiniti website for certified preowned cars and have found 2008 with roughly 10 to 15k miles on it which are running about $30K and 2007 with about 20 to 25K which are running about 28K.

So, what I am looking for is suggestions/opinions based on experiences and expertise that people have in these situations. My thought is that I should be able to get about $2 to $3K on the used cars to get me down to the $26K to $28K range for a used car. But is it really worth it when I can pay 5K more and get a 2009? Should I keep looking for a used car or lease or buy a 2009? I don't really care about being able to get a new car every 3 years, I am just looking to upgrade from my 2004 Nissan Sentra.

Any and all help/suggestions is much appreciated.

I am trying to locate a battery slow drain (65mA) in the BCM on my friend's 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan. Any idea which components connect to the BCM (50A) fuse and prospective failure that causes the 65mA (slow) drain?

Sorry its an Infiniti. I went in and honestly told them that 35,000.00 is all I possibly could afford to finance. I read on hear of tricks played by the dealer. I will keep my present car in line until I pick up the car. Do you think the pice is fair? What are the tricks I should look for. I did not finalize this yet though did make a small downpayment.
