Very few and poor tire options for 17" (205/50/17) tire class. Would like to get Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread tires bu they don't come in 17". OEM Goodyear tires have worn out at 18,000 miles and are dangerous in snow or ice. I'm willing to buy new rims but Tirerack doesn't list a 16" rim for Mazda with TPS.

My tailgate worked just fine until yesterday. I tried to lower it, and it did nothing! I cannot get it to lower to save me. I know that something is either broken, or has came loose.

I own a 1990 Chevy S-10 with a 2.5 engine. Valves started knocking. Reset timing and idle. Don't know what else to do.

I own 1990 chevy s10 has been running fine until the valves started knocking. I reset timing and idle to get the knocking to stop. Knocking stopped but the idle is too low. The timing mark on the harmonic balancer is now about 1 1/2 off the gauge for setting timing. Could it have jumped time?

Validity of the $300.00 turn in fee by Jeep? This was never explained, has never happened before and seems illegal.

I am looking to buy a used SUV, but I need to find one with good gas mileage and some off-road ability. I currently commute about 140m 4 days a week, so good gas mileage is a must. I live down a rough dirt/gravel road and we like to go do things off the beaten path, so I need one with good ground clearance that has moderate off-road ability. I don't need anything hugely rugged, but I do need something that can handle some pretty rough roads. I would also like something with good reliability because I plan to keep it for awhile and will put lots of mileage on it. I would like something a few years old (probably '02 to '05). What are my best bets?

I have $12,000 to spend on a used performance car. A convertible would be nice, but by no means a requirement. I have looked at a 2001 Porsche Boxster with 45000 miles, a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire with 35000 miles, and a 2000 Honda S2000 with 47000 miles. I like hot hatches too, the Ford Focus SVT and Volkswagen GTI are two cars I have considered. Are there any other cars you can reccomend?
