2004 Pontiac Sunfire. Driver's side low beam headlight doesn't work.

My low beam headlight on the driver side stopped working so I replaced the bulb which didn't work (the original bulb looked fine) I checked my fuses, they're all fine. when I didn't have my lights on the low beam that works flashes and the car clicks as if I have my turn signal on. What might the problem be?

I have a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire which has engine rotation unstable trouble with air conditioning.

I have a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire which has 36583 miles.
I have same trouble again and again. When air conditioning is on, the engine rotation changes 520 rpm to 700 rpm up and down in 0.5 sec interval. First time (2 years ago), the car was repaired by GM dealer. They cleaned inlet area and changed electric wire. Last year, I had same problem. The car was repaired by GM dealer to clean inlet system again. The up and down of engine rotation changed very small (not 0). This year, there is same problem now. Could you advise how to repair for our GM dealer?

My 2004 Pontiac Sunfire has 48,000 miles on it and up till now has been a great car bought it brand new in 04. Now the speedometer isn't working correctly just bounces around. And u cant even get up to speed without the rpms increasing highly when your going down the road its almost like being in neutral. Can anybody tell me what might be wrong with this

What is constant knock from rear of Pontiac Sunfire? I've had a '96, '97, '01 Sunfire, it's been the same for each. Seat, shock?

Constant rear knock, doesn't matter if I run over an ant or pothole. Can't tell if it's the seat, shock assembly, tank, or where... I've had the same knock in 96, 97, 01 pontiac sunfire.

I need to replace the power steering fluid on a 99 Pontiac Sunfire GT. Can anyone please help with the procedure?

While trying to maintain speed, I notice a miss. Doesn't miss while idoling. No other problems. Just that jerk while trying to maintain a certain speed. Doesn't matter what speed either.

I was told the body control module was bad.When i brought a new one they said it had to be programed.The dealer wants to charge 270.00 to do it.I do not have that kind of money.Can it be programed with out taking it to a dealer?It does not have keyless entry.

I changed the bulbs the connections look good the wires look good i dont know where else to look

03 Sunfire-rt headlight has always seemed dimmer than lt; tonight seemed like maybe it was out, so switched to bright lights, at that time service light came on dash, switched back to low beam & bright light indicator stayed on, so now cannot turn on fog lamps; replaced low/high beam bulbs tonight, no difference; almost seems like the right headlight is on daytime running lights all the time

had a new bumper put on.. i boo booed. but according to the repair shop no electrical problems other then replacing rear turn signal bulb. Car worked great for 2 weeks,now it wont do nuttin, not even doors will lock unless i manually lock them.

It's a 4-speed automatic - it will shift into every gear except Park - therefore we cannot even start it. Do you think this is a transmission problem or shifter or shifter cable problem. Any suggestions.

What would inhibit me from pushing my Pontiac Sunfire backwards while in neutral?

It's a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire - auto trans - the shifter would not go into park - so I disconnected the cable. Got it in park, started it, will drive, but will not go in reverse. When in neutral, I can't even push the car backwards. Is this transmission problem - or is there something on this vehicle that could be locked to keep the car from going backwards?

I have the problem with my 1996 Pontiac Sunfire not being able to go backwards.

The car cannot be pushed backwards while running in neutral, or with the engine off in neutral, but car will go forward in all forward gears.

I have a 98 Pontiac Sunfire. The AC will not work.

When I turn the air conditioning on it works fine unless I am stopped, then the RPMs jump from 500-1500 and everything in between instantaneously and drops just as suddenly. It also blows hot air instead of cold air when I am stopped. The last time I used it, it smelled like it was burning. I took it in to get it recharged because I thought that was what was wrong, but they said the freon was full that it was an electrical problem. It also never sounds like it turns on if you listen to the engine.

I own a 99 Pontiac Sunfire GT with less then 46,000 miles. Engine knocking - is it covered under manufacturer's warranty?

the light on the dash keeps on blinking until you turn the headlights on then it goes off and the headlights work.

I already did that it did not make a difference any more suggestions? It stalls when you go to start it up and when it starts it sounds like it winds up before idoling down before that it did not want to start up at all then hours later it slowly startesd and I will drive it up the road and come back home and turn it off a few minutes then go to start it and it will do the same thing

Pontiac Sunfire no start. The battery has a green charge light on it saying it has charge and I cleaned the cables.

It will start but like I ask before does the green light always mean that
the battery has good enough charge to it.I have yet to jump it off it will start and maybe later it will not and then later it did like when this started yesterday morning it would not even turn over it would just give you the dead battery clicking sound then 8 hours later it would turn over and start with a pause could it be the starter?

We have a 98 Pontiac Sunfire. It will go into any gear with or without the clutch but it will not move.

the problem is its going into any gear easy with or w/out clutch wat i mean is plainly it wont move when i put it into gear if it even goes into gear i was told it needeed a clutch kit but only 1 partr of it out of the kit isall i need wat could make it act this way clutch pedal normal and i dont feel no grinding or anything when placing it into anygear im stumped please help

Hello, my girlfriend had her key stuck in the key receiver for a while but luckily one of our friends managed to pull it out (not sure how much forced he used and if this did some damage). Later on that night the car started fine and drove fine for about 25 minutes. My girlfriend then ran an errand turned her car off for about 2 minutes came back to her car and the steering wheel was locked, the key receiver could not be turned, and the car could not be taken out of park. Any ideas as to what could be wrong? I have no clue if it is eletrical, a transmission issue, or something else. I need some help please!

1997 Pontiac Sunfire 2.4 automatic almost 70,000 miles (mainly highway)
Computer is reading that the 4th Cylinder is misfiring.
Just replaced battery, alternator, spark plugs, and wires.
Last oil change: roughly 4 months ago...
Has problems starting; have to ease on the gas while turning key.
When driving (stepping on gas) it feels like you're running out of gas, even with a full tank. When you apply pressure to the pedal it's a "no-go" type of feeling. A few seconds later, it catches and finally accelerates.
Starting to wonder if it's the fuel pump...or fuel filter?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! =]

Im thinking about selling as many parts of my 1997 Pontiac Sunfire GT as i can, due to it not being worth me fixing it once again... Anyway, i was just very overwhelmed when i hit the ebay scene, with there being all sorts of parts flying around everywhere. So my question is: Can anyone please help me figure out what parts of my car i can take out and sell preferably on ebay, that would be ok to sell used that has over 130k miles on it. Also, what parts would not be ok to sell on Ebay also have good resale value?

My 1996 Pontiac Sunfire was having a hard time warming up then suddenly the heat quit working and the car would try to overheat so we replaced the thermostat that the owners manual had shown. However, after looking, we found a second thermostat housing at the top radiator hose on the right side of the engine. After removing the housing, there is no thermostat sitting there. Should there be? The Haynes manual doesn't show this one but I want to make sure before attempting to drive it again. (Just got the car used so I'm not used to this model) Thanks!

I had to replace the speedometer cluster on my 1998 Sunfire GT, and the tech said to turn the key to the on position and leave it for ten minutes or until the theft light quit flashing, then turn the key off and start the car.

I did all that but the theft system is still kicking in and wont let me start the car, any suggestions?

the engine knocks and the oil light is on. until you increase rpms then the light goes out and the knock seems to go away. why is this.
