Unlike some fluids like brake fluid which cannot be used after the container has been opened, antifreeze does not go bad and you can store it indefinitely. However, keep in miind that it is toxic to small children and may be deadly to animals attracted by its sweet taste. Store it carefully where it cannot be reached by kids. If you decide to dispose of it, take it to a local auto parts store and do not flush it down your drain or in a street sewer.
