Surest way is for a shop to do it with a smoke machine. Here's a good intro to vacuum leaks and their detectionVACUUM LEAKS
To add..Check the Fuel Pressure..Low Fuel Pressure can cause a lean condition and set both codes.Check for a restricted fuel filter also.Also Have it smoke tested on a cold engine.The 5.3 L engines can have intake gasket problems cold.Doc J
