1987 Honda Accord power door locks do not work.

I need help please i put in a alarm on my honda a few months later the door loocks would start to lock & open by themselves going down the road now the lock/unlock button on the door does not work and the alarm door lock remote does not work either it is driving me crazy thank you for your time.

Without knowing how the installer put this alarm in, it would be impossible to tell you what went wrong. I suspect there is a short in the wiring somewhere that has blown a fuse. I would check the fuse box to see if any fuse is blown. Ultimately, whoever installed it should stand by his work and fix the problem. These aftermarket alarms always seem to cause problems which is why I tend to steer people away from them unless you know a good installer who stands by his work. Enter your zip code and you will get a list of mechanics in your area that other consumers have used and highly recommend. Look for ones that specialize either in the make of your car or alarm installations. Call 2-3 of them and ask for a ballpark figure on the repair. I have personally used this site with great success to find good honest mechanics and can highly recommend it. Good luck!
