1990 Toyota 3VZE engine, starts / runs for two seconds then dies.

Replaced engine, new injectors and other eng parts. Tried to start it runs for two seconds then dies. Starts easy sounds good. Checked fuel pump PSI it's good. Ideas?

YOu might run a test light on your fuel pump to see if the relay is cutting out on you.

This has got to be fuel related. I don't think your engine has an oil pressure shut off switch, and ignition doesn't appear and disappear so regularly like that unless something is switching it off.

Weird problem.

Have you replaced the fuel filter?

Talked to a friend he recommended I check the Volume Air Flow meter. This is an electronic unit on top of the air cleaner canister. I disconnected the wire connector and the engine started and ran.
