boatracing	1995 Toyota Camry back-up light switch question. Hi, Thanks for the reply on my question on tht 1995 Camry Back-up lights. Talking with a few techs they think it is the back-up switch attached to the transmission. Do you know if this is something easy to change myself or do I need to take it to the shop? Toyota wants about $400 to check it and replace it. although they say the part costs about $250.

The part only costs $25 at AutoZone (Part No.JA449). It is located to the right and below where your oil cap is right behind the starter. It sits on top of the tranny and will have a clip and wire coming off of it. You'll need a 1" drive socket wrench and a 1 1/16" socket. Very easy to replace yourself. Good luck!
