1995 Volvo 850. Oil leak from the oil filler cap?
Greetings, I have a 1995 Volvo 850 (nonturbo) with just over 200,000. The car runs good, but the problem I have currently have is an oil leak that appears to be coming from the oil filler cap. I have replaced both the cap and the o-ring, but the oil continues to spray on the underside of the hood, puddles of oil in the indents on the top of the engine, and I recently found the oil has made its way into the fuel injector, filling it with oil. I drained the oil from there and I discovered that was the reason why I had lost so much power. Also, after test drives, white smoke emits from the dip stick when I remove it and from the cap; not sure if that is normal.
I have found on another site to check the timing belt, I have checked the belt, no oil around it, and replaced the belt within the last week to 2 weeks ago; including the water pump, serpentine belt, engine mount, intake manifold gasket, and the PCV system.
The car before I started to replace parts did leak leaving a good amount of oil on the drive way, when it was parked, but it doesn't seem to leak when it idles.
Not sure what else it could be and any help would be greatly appreciated.
