1999 4.3 steering pump

Have everything done, problem can only get the pully half on the shaft, does it actually take a while to push this on with bolt nut setup.

this is a press fit connection did you lube the shaft first and the hole in the pulley, can you get it back off, it has to be staight, if you heat the pully a little it should slide on easier don't hit it with a hamer you can also sand the shart a little with some 600 or 400 emery cloth and yes they are sometimes hard to put back on
