2000 Ford Taurus will not start but it's not the starter? What is it please?
I have a 2000 Ford Taurus. It was working fine until I hit a bump due to construction on a roadway. I took it home, and later that day as I was driving it shut off twice. I was able to crank it up again each time. I went to start it up the next morning and I was unable to do so. It made a noise like it had no gas - it turned over but no start.
Many mechanics later it wasn't my starter, or ignition coil, or spark plugs, or timing chain, fuel, line, ignition switch (all items were replaced). Could you tell me what it could be.
