    check power at starter both main power and start sgnal it takes 2 pepole also do you have an alarm or remote start

    I had the same problem, it is not the transmission temp. problem. It is not the battery and it is not the starter. It turned out to be a charred connection under the battery housing. Fixed it and now it runs great and the transmission temp message is also gone.
