2000 Lincoln Navigator navigation keeps popping out the CD. The screen lights up but stays in standby mode. Any help?

The navigation system keeps ejecting the CD & keeps the screen in "standby mode". Is this a problem with the CD map player or the CD itself?

Just making sure that you're putting the CD in the correct slot. In the Lincoln Nav screens you have to access the navigation menu and use the touchscreen to slide the screen out. There is a special slot behind the screen to insert the disc. If you are already doing this, then I would recommend taking it to a Lincoln service writer, he'll probably be able to tell you what your problem is.
