    Sounds very much like you have a bad ground wire somewhere. Trace the negative cable on the battery down to the ground connection and make sure it is clean and on tight to the ground point on the engine/chassis. The other likely culprit is the ignition switch. People hang so many keys and other junk on their key chains that the constant weight and movement wears out the ignition switch easily. Start there and report back on your findings and we'll go from there.
