I am aware that part 4860044ab superseded part 4860044aa but the part i get doesn't have the same fittings as what was on the car
My car has been out of commission for 3 weeks now due to this ...Can anyone help me?

Have you called the Parts Dept. of your Plymouth Dealer? And ask about this situation. The parts guys are pretty sharp and might lead you down the right path.
