    P0451 relates to the Evaporative Emissions Control System and usually this code indicates a bad EVAP pressure sensor.

    Sounds like you're diagnosing another code.

    Double check that code.

    You shouldn't be getting that code on the diesel.

    Im sorry I was away for the weekend, I did type the code wrong, it happens to be P0541.

    Based on your test, it does call for a PCM replacement, but I'd suggest you subscribe to www.alldatadiy.com and do ALL the other tests as well, as explained in that database. I don't suppose a PCM is all that cheap.
