2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee air conditioner problems.

The air condition only blows out the defrost no matter what the dial is on. Also it leaks puddle of water inside on the passenger side. Have dash torn apart but still can't seem to locate problem.

The drain tube is probably clogged and the condensation is running back into the passenger compartment. It exits the firewall into the engine compartment on the passenger side. Once you locate it, you need to run a wire carefully up the end to remove the algae that develops inside it. As to the defrost condition, you probably have a bad vacuum line as that is what runs to the switch. Check it for leaks and replace any leaking hoses.
