2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee flasher/relay troubleshoot? (Electrical Switches Jeep Grand Cherokee Lights Tail Lights)

shadetree19	2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee flasher/relay troubleshoot? Have a 2002 Grand Cherokee Limited and the turn signals rarely work. They will work for about 4 days straight then out of nowhere they wont work for weeks. I troubleshot the multi-function switch per the Haynes manual and its fine. Next I removed the flasher/relay, so my question would be, "How can you troubleshoot the flasher?" In the Haynes manual it doesn't specify how to do it. Also which group of wires can I check to see if its a faulty wire connection(s)? Thanks in advance.

Here is something you may try.. don't ask me logic..but it has helped me with couple of electrical issues in the past..

Disconnect battery cables Wait for 15 minutes.. and reconnect
Its like rebooting computer..
