2002 Saturn SL2 is making noise. (Steering Saturn S-Series)

rmpowers	2002 Saturn SL2 is making noise. I asked question last night regarding rebuilt power steering column for 2002 Saturn, not answered yet? Powers steering in 2002 Saturn is making noise, like a plastic zipper, told it needs powers steering rebuilt but that is expensive. Thinking of buying a used part but service center will not guarantee the work. Is this a common problem with that year Saturn model SL2? Should I buy used part or have it rebuilt? Money is an issue so need to do what ever is cheapest. Suggestions?

Can't help you with the steering noise, but for some reason your question last night didn't get published. Maybe you hit the wrong button or maybe there was a software glitch on our end. Who knows with computers.
